Unlocked

I stared at the locked heart shaped door, while holding a piece of apple pie on my right hand. Currently chewing a part of apple pie in my mouth. It's past lunch time and my stomach growled and begged me to fill him and, good thing I told Mellissa to pack the left-over pie.

After an hour or eating, chewing and staring at the door, I finally decided to go out and find a clean water. I'm lucky to be able to see a clean water fifteen minutes after searching for a water to drink.

Habang nasa labas ay isa lang ang nasaisip ko ang makuha ang susi. Hindi ko na nga namalayan na paikot ikot na ako gubat. It's been hours at sa tingin ko ay paulit ulit ang mga lugar na napupuntahan ko.

This is a problem that I never thought. I didn't know the way to our house. Malapit na ring lumubog ang araw. The whole place is slowly getting dark. Hindi ako pwedeng gabihin dahil magtataka ang mga kapatid ko at hindi lang iyon, wala akong dalang lampara sa magsilbing ilaw ko sa daan.

"It's the same tree!" Frustrated na sabi ko dahil naliligaw na ako. I keep on seeing the same tree for hours.

"It's okay. I will get out of here." Pagpapalakas ko sa aking sarili.

Hindi pa man lumilipas ang ilang minuto ay bigla akong nakarinig ng tunog.

I heard a gunshot. Hunters.

Tila narinig din iyon ng aking kabayo. My horse got scared. She created a loud sound and she wants to run.

"Easy, easy." Pilit kong pinapakalma ang kabayo ko. I leaned forward and cares her neck and head to calm her.

Hindi ko pa napapakalma ang kabayo ko ng marinig namin ulit ang putok ng baril. Napasigaw ako ng biglang tumakbo ang kabayo ko ng mabilis. Mabilis ko rin namang napakalma ang kabayo ko ng makalayo kami. Tumigil siya may gilid ng daanan.

"Are you okay now?" I whispered to my horse.

She made a sound. I'll take it as a yes.

Hindi ako magagalit sa mga hunters because this place is for hunters and not for a woman like me. I need to avoid them and save myself from questions. Maaaring makarating din ito sa aking ama at mas lalong magagalit sa akin iyon.

Akmang papatakbuhin ko na ito ng makarinig ko ng boses.

"Miss, do you need some help?" A voice from my back.

Two men appeared on my side, riding a huge black horse. Huger than my horse. My eyes landed on the two men. Based on my judgement they're not ordinary people of Hisperia. There clothes are similar to the Royals. They're wearing black clothes.

The two has a rough feature, but the other one is slightly younger to the other one. They're the opposite of each other. Nakangiti ang lalakeng mukhang mas bata, while the other one is not. Naconscious ako bigla dahil pareho silang nakatitig sa akin.

I studied and they also did. Their eyes scanning my whole body. Observing me. Scans my face, my dress, my soul. I don't want to know their judgement on me.

Umiling-iling ako sa kanila. "No. I'm fine." I said to them and gave them a small smile. "Thank you for asking. Nagulat lang ang kabayo ko sa tunog ng baril." I explained to them.

I slightly turned my head at my back, and my eyes saw three men. But their clothes are different to the two in front of me.

Bumalik ang tingin ko sa dalawang mukhang prinsipe. They both slowly nodded, letting me know that they understand my answer and their eyes are still on me.
