Alive

Staring at the crimson and perfectly shaped apple, I picked it from it's tree. I didn't know how long I'm staring at the piece of apple on my hand before I put it inside of my basket.

I don't have the courage to believe every word that Ali has said. I believe that it will never happen, for the reason that three days have been passed and I didn't seen any marks of his shadow, no letters and no Ali came to me.

And yesterday, a news came from the palace after Princess Diantha left the palace that Ali announced that he is planning to marry soon. They didn't mentioned a name though, nonetheless there's still a chance that the woman he wants to marry is Princess Diantha.

We don't have any idea what happened between him and Princess Diantha inside the palace. The princess are staying at the palace. Hindi malabong hindi sila nagkikita roon at walang interactions.

Hindi na ako Umaasa kung totoo pa nga ba ang mga salitang huling binitawan ni Ali bago siya umalis ng aming bahay.

I'm simply tired of dreaming about love that is hard to believe that do exist. They said that there is true love, that you just need to find it, find the person. I think true love is a choice from both sides. And the love that last is not just about feelings, infatuation love, it's about a choice to stay and love.

The cursed of reading books. I should've known that the result of reading books would be like this. I end up dreaming the dreams that do not exist.

You can't force someone to love you, to stay to your side, to love you.

I guess, I just have to accept my fate.

Fate that I need to swallow and destroy all the things.

Destroy my life and me.

I sigh and continued picking fresh apples. Nawalan ako ng gana ng maalala ko ang pagkikita naming dalawa dito sa apple farm. I want to blame him for bewitching me, but I'm the one who bewitched him. Ali never wants to leave my head for the pass three days.

Idagdag pang araw-araw ako kung padalhan ni Andreas ng pink peony flower bouquet na binili niya sa mismong shop ko.

After picking some fresh apples, I went our of the apple farm. Currently walking at the side of the streets, holding the basket on my other and the other is holding the umbrella that's blocking the rays of the sun.

Papunta ako sa archery field, kung saan palaging nageensayo si Angelique. She likes archery and that's the thing our father hate about her. Gustong-gusto niya ang mga masyadong delikado. Isama pang mahilig siyang mangabayo.

I entered the wide and green field. Nakita ko roon si Angelique sa gitna habang hawak-hawak ang kanyang pangpana. She's laughing and communicating with her friends.

I smiled and watched her. I'm happy that she is happy.

Mukha siyang busy kaya naman ay hindi ko na lang siya inabala at umalis na lang. I decided to go at my aunt's house. To visit Heart.

Nang marating ko ang bahay ay agad akong kumatok pagkatapos isara ang payong. I know that this day is my aunt's day off. There's a certain day within the week that she wants to rest. A whole day rest from sewing dresses and suits.

Hindi na ako nagulat ng biglang bumukas ang pinto at bumungad sa akin si Auntie Erona.

Her eyes widened when she saw me, but she smiled immediately after I smiled at her.

"Good to see you, Rose." She said to me.

My smile widened, happy to see her. "Good to see you too. Gusto ko lang namang kayong bisitahin." I greeted her back. "I got some fresh apples." I said to her and showed her the basket of apple in my hand.
