Yours

Hindi lang sa harap namin umalis si dad. Maski sa buong bahay. He left without telling us again, because he is mad, furious rather. Kaming dalawa ni Aunt Erona ay nandito sa sala at nagpapahinga para hintayin ang breakfast.

A lot of journalists, and writers are waiting outside of our gate, and wanting to interview me for their newsprints. Which scares me. Lahat kami kay parang nahold na dito sa loob ng bahay. Parang wala nang makakaalis habang hindi pa humuhupa ang mga balita.

Angelique and Bella went back to their respective rooms.

"My reaction was so epic. I was so excited to greet you congratulations, and they your father was such a boomer. Kaya mukhang matanda na eh." Aunt Erona said to us and sipped her cup of tea. Kung makahigop ng tea ay parang hindi nagsabi ng mga tea kanina.

"What is Heart's reaction?" Tanong ko at humigop rin ng dark chocolate drink na nasa tasa.

Aunt Erona laughed, maybe she remembered something funny. "She was proud and thrilled at the same time. But don't tell her that I told you the proud part. She smiled and wanted to congratulate you too for getting the crown prince." She answered.

"Is she still busy?" I asked again.

I saw her yesterday and I forgot to asked her about some things. Finding lost things are challenging.

"Yes. Ngayon ay may kikitain siya, and I don't know who is it. Maybe someone she met. I do hope she will not cause any rumors. Mahilig pa naman iyong lumakad na parang hindi kung pink ang lahat ng suot."

We both laughed in unison. Well, it's true. Magtataka ang mga makakakita sa kanya, dahil sa mga suot niya. Hindi na rin naman namin iyon mababago sa kanya. Pink is Heart, and Heart is Pink.

Biglang pumasok sa utak ko ang mga huling salita ng aking ama kanina bago siya umalis. Growing up, I have heard a lot of love story but I didn't tried to know my parents' love story. Simula ng mawala ang aking ina ay hindi na ako nagtanong pa tungkol dito. Marahil, dahil nakaset na sa utak kong masasaktan ko pa ang aking ama.

Ngayon ay nagkakaroon na ako ng idea kung ano ito. I'm sensing that it didn't end well. Especially, that my mother has a lot of secrets. She was a thief; she didn't chose my father and what did she chose? Who?

I look at my Aunt Erona, who is currently reading the latest newsprint.

Should I ask her?

"I can sense your stares, young lady. What is it? Do you need something?" She asked me.

I sighed. "I just wanted to asked, how my parents met each other? I think there's something off within my father's words earlier. What happened between the two of them."

Aunt Erona stilled. Her eyes slowly moved into my direction, them she put down the newsprint to her lap. "I'm not the suitable person to tell that story to you. Maybe one day, you'll ask your father or mother regarding to that matter. Their story is not my story to tell. Kahit na gusto kong ikwento sa iyo ang lahat, ay hindi maaari. But just wait for that time. Malalaman mo rin." She said and grabbed the newsprint to read again.

I took a deep breath and leaned on the back of the couch. "Andaming nangyayari sa buhay ko." Sabi ko. I stood up and look at my Aunt. "I'll just go to my room. I need to redo my hair." I said to her. Kailangan kong panatilihin ang kulay lupa na kulay ng akin buhok.

Hindi pa rin puwedeng makita ng iba na kulay puti na ang aking buhok. Mas paguusapan pa ako ng buong Hisperia. Idagdag pang mainit ang mata sa akin dahil sa nangyari kagabi. Para sa iba malaking eskandalo sa buong Hisperia ang ginawa ni Ali.
