Mental illness is a hard topic for society to talk about, but it needs to be talked about. Maybe sometimes we base it off of experience, and we always see it as a bad thing, but we need to accept the fact that people who are diagnosed with it belong to this world. If people think that God has taken them away from this world based on that, they need to look at the bigger picture.
I don't want to take away a whole lot from the story, but I needed to say that.
Please be careful reading this book. If you are one of those people who think that people with mental illness don't belong here, I'd put the book down and go see a therapist.
This story talks about suicide and sexual assault, so I would highly recommend that if you are dealing with these issues to put the book down and get help.
