Waking up, my neck was in so much pain. It felt like a thousand knives stabbing me in the neck. Did I just die and come back to life? No, that didn't just happen. Why would that ever happen? Standing up, I see the pool of blood on the floor. It did happen. I am dead, yet still alive. I don't know how it's possible, but it is. Looking at the pool of blood, I kneeled down to it, and put my fingers in it. Bringing my hand back, I tasted it. Human blood. It's just what I needed. A craving came upon me. "It's not enough." I tell myself in desperation. Heading to the library, I see Jason. He might know what to do. Before heading over, I overhear Jack, yet he's nowhere in sight. I really hope Jason can explain all this to me.
Heading in, I see him at a table by himself. "Jason?" I started. "Yes Snow?" He asked as if he knew me. "Can you explain what's going on with me?" I ask him. "Well how are you feeling?" He asks. "I have a really bad craving for blood, and I can hear all these things yet I'm nowhere near the people." I told him. "You're turning into a vampire." He tells me as if he knows everything. "I have a daylight ring you can use. It's already enchanted." He tells me before handing one to me. "One other thing that's cool about being a vampire is being able to compel people." He finishes off. It just gave me an idea. I looked into his eyes to compel him, and I told him, "You will forget I came to get the ring. You don't know me at all, but you know that I am a vampire." I head out of the library. My craving for blood didn't go away, so I headed back.
"Excuse me, are you Jason?" I ask him, hoping that the compelling thing worked. "Yes. What is it?" He asks as if he doesn't know me. "I'm hungry." I tell him, needing blood more than anything. "Okay...what do you need?" He asks. "Blood," I tell him. "Sorry, what did you just say?" He asked a little startled. "Blood. I'm fucking hungry," I tell him, creeping him out even more. "How?" He asks. Like I need to explain to him what's going on. "Give me a freaking blood bag or I will fucking end you right here right now," I yell in his face not too loudly. He grabs me one as he mutters to himself, "You don't have to yell at me." "That's the stuff," I exclaim to myself after opening the blood bag and drinking from it. Blood never tasted so good before.
"Now, what do you want?" Jason asks, as if he hasn't had enough of me creeping him out. "I came to warn you," I told him. "About what?" He asks. "About Jack. He's going to kill Cashmere, and he's going to want your help," I tell him. "How are you sure about this?" He asks as if I don't know what I'm talking to him about. I know what I heard, so I don't need Jason criticizing me. "I had overheard him after I turned," I told him. "Does he know about Cashmere and I being friends?" He asks. "No he doesn't. Look, it's either your life or hers. It's your decision to make, not mine." I tell him before heading out of the library, looking for Cashmere to warn her.
Walking upstairs by the bathroom, I heard sounds of someone crying. It sounded like Cashmere to me. But what would she be crying about? Jack? And his villainous ways? There are some people that just need to understand what life really means, and he clearly hasn't learned his lesson. Heading in, I heard sniffles and cries that I knew I would recognize anywhere. "Cashmere? I can tell it's you in there," I tell her, hoping I don't creep her out, because I'm only at the sink and she's at the far stall. "Okay. The only way you can tell is either by super hearing or knowing the type of crying that I do." She tells me. I didn't want to tell her about me becoming a vampire just yet, because she already hasn't had a good day, and I don't want to make everything worse.
"What's wrong Cashmere?" I ask, walking towards the stall door. She bursted through the stall door and ran for the sink, tears staining her clothes as if she fell in a waterfall. There was something in her hand though. It looked an awful lot like a pregnancy stick. "What's bothering you?" I ask, going in to comfort her. "I'm pregnant. With Jack's kid," she tells me, covering her face trying to stop the tears. "Does he know?" I ask. "No he doesn't. Should he know?" She asks, taking her hands off of her face. "I don't know about that. Listen Cashmere, I came to warn you." I tell her, getting close to her but not too close. "About Jack?" She asks. There isn't a way of how she could probably already know. "Yes. Soon after he turned me into a vampire, I had overheard him talking to himself about plotting to kill you. He's going to get Jason's help," I tell her. She probably didn't hear me talking about my transition to becoming a vampire, but I told her anyway. "Why would he need Jason? Jason and I are friends now." She tells me. I could tell that this was bothering her a lot. "Jack doesn't know. Look, I've talked to Jason, and I've asked him to think about something. It's either his life or yours." I tell her trying to make it seem like she's not going to die. I just hope that Jason will listen and will let Cashmere live.
"So I could die?" She asked, quite scared as if shocked to her very core. "I don't know. It could be possible. If Jason doesn't take the deal, then yes you're going to die. It's in Jason's hands to decide." I tell her, hoping that she can also trust in Jason to do the right thing. Holding her in a hug, we headed out of the bathroom right away. It was getting close to the end of the day, so she headed to her last block class. I really hope that Jason will stand to reason.
