Okay, so, Warden hybrid things!
She has great ideas!! Check out her artbook for them!
But these are my own:
Xisuma, as a Warden hybrid, has excellent hearing. If a Hermit is up and trying to sneak around; he'll hear! Although he usually leaves them be.
Vibrations are prominent for X, and can also throw him off guard easily if powerful enough. Same with sound, it can easily hurt his ears and give him headaches.
I love Vol's idea of how the Warden shriek is implemented! But, I want you to check her artbook out for that ;]
I also have the idea that if X wanted to, he could lift a boulder, or knock Grian out with just a simple bonk to the head. It just depends on his mood and energy. If he's annoyed, his strength could easily accidentally come out, for example.
Xisuma also has a great sense of smell, not as great as his hearing, but definitely rivalling Ren's sense of smell. There are also circumstances where Warden hybrids can't smell at all though.
Which leads to the skulk thing! Skulk grows on Wardens and in their domain, so, naturally, it grows on Warden hybrids as well! Usually it can go around or under important body parts, like the eyes and fingers and blah blah, BUT, there are circumstances where the skulk will cover certain parts. Like the nose. Or it'll overcome an arm or eye. Skulk can also be as soft as moss, or as tough as steel. It all depends on where it is and whether the Warden hybrid is angy or not. I agree, Warden hybrids like hiding Skulk patches, unless they're egotistical or something.
Vol has another great idea for the glowy things! My idea is that they can be like freckles on normal skin and that X could make them glow brighter, whether on purpose or on accident.
Okay, eyes. So, for me, when Hybrids are in the deep dark/caves they usually close their eyes and keep them like that. But if they were to open them like that their eyes would either be white, teal, or black. Fully; including the whites. X can see in the dark, it's just everything is dimmed down and in a sort of teal grid-like sight, like how some movies describe 'seeing' vibrations. It isn't actually seeing, more of like knowing and being able to identify the things. And in the light/day he can see basically nothing, just guess based on sound and such.
Horns. Baby Warden hybrids don't have them, they grow in once they're about a year or two old. And they can grow longer than the hybrid's torso. X's horns are naturally long. At first he just had holes in his helmet for them, but he figured that got too suspicious too quickly. So.. he kinda sorta.. cut them off. Horna regrow REALLY slowly, so that's why they're pretty short for X currently in the book.
Warden hybrids have sharp teeth, and their hands are usually covered in Skulk and have claws. Sometimes there's no Skulk though. X files his claws down to make them look like normal human fingers, then covers them with gloves.
Warden hybrids can open their mouths REALLY wide if they wanted, completely defying human anatomy. Flexible mouth skin and jaws they have.
Sometimes the Skulk eats a Warden hybrid's human skin, eventually leaving the bone exposed. Does X have exposed bone? I will not reveal.
Skulk often drips from the hybrid's Warden horns, or tries to block over injures. That can damage a hybrids insides though sometimes. Not usually.
INSTINCTS! Ooh boy.. :]
Okay, so, Wardens are naturally aggressive mobs, right? And Warden hybrids? They get triggered easily. X gets annoyed pretty quickly at the people in armour, doesn't he? A Warden hybrid's tolerance of their friends and stuff makes them get annoyed less easily though.
X likes screaming.
Like, just to let out any kind of emotion-
Happy? Scream/squeal.
Angry? Scream/shout.
Sad? Scream/sob.
The irony is that X hates when the Hermits start screaming and shouting at each other. Funny, right? It discourages fighting amongst themselves, though! Or does it..?...Skulk can and will be used as a weapon.
Warden hybrids get attached to things easily. And they're territorial. They can be very territorial.
X is very protective of the Hermits, and he's very territorial towards strangers. He likes being the leader cause he wants to protect his friends :]
Aweeee wholesome!!
Anyways, I think that's all... should I do more of these for other hybrids in this book? If I do, I'll probably make it a separate book for hybrid stuff/headcannons in general-
No promises!!
Anyways, hope you liked the information dump! Check out Volpixal 's Warden Hybrid ideas!! In her art book! Maybe drop her a follow or leave a nice comment for her? Thanks if you're gonna do so! If not, that's perfectly fine!
Oh yeah- feel free to input your own ideas and stuff! I'll probably implement it, and I'll try to give credit somehow!! :D
Thank you for your time!
