"You either die a hero,
or live long enough to see yourself become the villain"

But I do not wish to become the villain I have
been told I am.⊱——————————————⊰
"And this," a scientist announced, proudly presenting a vial to a group of people wearing varying kinds of armour. "is my team's latest creation."
The man admires the little vial for a few moments, then he went back to informing the crowd. "We have made quite a few drugs to help us against the half breeds. Tranquillisers, mind numbers, two versions of instinct manipulation.."
Wels shifted uncomfortably as the scientist continued rambling about the success of said drugs and the brilliance of his team. He looked around and spotted a blonde leaning against the wall, looking bored and not paying attention, just looking around like Wels was.
Their eyes met and she smiled at Wels. False, Wels thought, smiling back at her. One of his only sane cohorts, and he'd consider her a friend. Well, sane in the humane sense.
He tuned back into the lecture the head scientist was giving just in time to hear; ".. which will be able to activate once it gets in their systems through the fog, though the drug is stronger when we reinforce it with another drug that so far we've only been able to put in food. But this'll probably only be used on the dangerous half-breeds we've captured anyway."
Wels eagerly exited once the man clapped his hands, signalling the end of his announcement. False caught up to him and they walked down the metal underground halls, the facility prided themselves in the fact they brought back great technology, so there was electric bulbs to light up the hallway.
"Kitchens?" False asked, glancing at Wels.
"Yup, he's always hauled up in there, so that's probably where he'll be," Wels told the female blonde.
"Better than the labs or containment areas," False shrugged, her hand going to the hilt of her sword.

False and Wels knocked lightly on the door to the kitchens, before Wels pushed it open for False to slip in first. The inside was large, with a strange mix of semi-modern and old fashioned furnaces, as well as racks for utensils and pans, and cupboards for pots and dry ingredients. The usual cooks had emptied out, leaving a man alone in the mess of the kitchens.
His eyes were blue, and his hair was dark brown and tipped blue. He wore blue gloves, a white hoodie, and a stained apron like piece of clothing over the hoodie. He looked up when the door opened and grinned nervously at the two blondes as they entered.
"Jev, you made a mess again," Wels sighed, looking at the pots, pans, and ingredients scattered across the counters and floor.
