"I want to be good.
I can't bear the thought of my soul being hideous."
-Oscar Wilde

I've had to participate and watch
The horrors of your acts.

And I'm determined to not
Become a monster
Like you are.

Martyn quickly walked towards a door, obviously uncomfortable in his armour. He opened the door and entered, immediately removing his helmet. His blonde hair was flattened from the metal and he fiddled with the other parts of his armour.

Martyn got the shoulder and back straps undone and removed the shoulder and chest parts of the armour. He looked around the closet he entered, it was basically empty. Just a few boxes of..

Martyn kneeled down by the boxes and lifted a lid, revealing a stash of empty darts and needles. It'd be more convenient for him if they weren't empty, but he still grabbed a few.

Martyn unstacked the boxes to look through more of the stock and glanced at the door behind him, he placed his white backpack in front of him to place the little sharp objects. The only other thing in his bag was a vial of liquid that Martyn had stolen. The liquid was a sample of some sort of drug the facility used, he was yet to figure out which one it was though.

Martyn zipped up his backpack and scooted the boxes to the side, glancing around the closet. The other thing that stood out was a button on the wall, it wasn't exactly hidden, but its colour was close to the wall.

Martyn took the few steps needed and reached out to the button, it would either activate an alarm, or some sort of 'secret' most likely. Martyn hoped for the first option as he pressed the button.

"Woah," Martyn muttered as the button sunk into the wall and multiple clicks were heard through out the closet.

Martyn listened and removed the remaining borrowed armour he had on as his eyes trailed around the tight walls and ceiling of the closet. Martyn jumped when metal enclosed the main door, and the side of the wall opened up. Bright light filled the closet and Martyn smiled a bit triumphantly.

"Alright then.." Martyn leaned closer to the opening and peaked inside the bright connecting room.

Inside was a bunch of enclosures, animal pens and an aquarium, the bright light coming from a most likely florescent light in the ceiling. Martyn stepped inside the large room cautiously, half expecting the door to close behind him, but it didn't.

Martyn fixed his backpack, then he spotted the humanoids living in the aquarium and he froze. Of course. A hybrid containment area. He thought they kept hybrids in weird dungeons?

Martyn stepped back, hoping no hybrid noticed him, because, in all honesty, he didn't want to face one. But, of course hybrids have their freaky enhanced senses and reaction times.
