I watched Brooklyn's industrial quarter, through black-tinted windows for a long time.

Or so I thought.

I did this just so I could forget about her for a minute.

I can't think about Gabriella right now.

I can't wrap my mind around her cluelessness, I have much more important business - such as protecting her from everybody, including myself, my family, and, most importantly, the devil, who chased her all her life.

Bob turned to me, "We've arrived, boss."

I looked around the area prudently and got out of the car. Bob leaned at the wheel ready to sprint away at any moment. I stood in front of a huge abandoned industrial building toward Pennsylvania and looked around.

It was empty.

Too empty.

The sky was swaying, so I'd put my coat tighter.

"Is it the correct address?" "I whispered under my nose.

Two cars covered with black windows approached. Fabio, Fernando, and Luca emerged from one of them, and Elijah and two other guys emerged from the other. The men came in unison and looked down at the gloomy surroundings.

The sky, which predicted rain, did not lie - the first drops lurked along the noses of our boots. Fabio squinted his eyes suspiciously as he watched the porch of an abandoned house.

"Martin, and Patrick, watch the area. Through a handheld dispatcher, let Oliver know to record the conversation and monitor the territory closely."

Martin nodded and, pulling out a walkie-talkie, began to hurry. Meanwhile, Patrick pressed buttons on the mobile, combining the camera frequencies in my father's jacket's pocket and Oliver's transmitter.

We were still standing for a while as we pulled towards the door. One of the guards standing at the door stepped aside. We marched accompanied by Solcnev Brotherhood attendants along the dark corridor until we reached the door.

We put on our weapons without too much falling into the eyes of strangers.

The door opened and I entered first, as the others came in after. There were black-skinned sofas in the room, on which Dmitriy Solcnev and his sons sat. Around with tray-filled hands and extremely seductive outfits, the girls scrambled.

So, it is cunning for the Russian mafia to turn the building into an abandoned one only from the outside.

The inner corridors and hulls were swarming with life. Dmitriy rose and waved his hand around the room, "D'Angelo, I'm flattered to see you here. Glad you could make it. Sit down and please, feel like at home."

I looked around the cigar-smoke-filled room and the men who kept their eyes on my family members. We all sat down and settled in more comfortably.
