(High Council Chamber, High Council Tower, Jedi Temple)

The following day, Obi-Wan and Anakin were in the Jedi Council chamber after reporting the council about Zam Wesell's attempted assassination and about the other bounty hunter she had been working with. Standing in the middle of the chamber, the two faced the members of the council, which had changed the last 10 years. The seats that had once been occupied by Yaddle and Yarael Poof now had 2 new members. A Togruta woman named Shaak Ti with long Montrals and Lekku, and Coleman Trebor, a male Vurk with gray skin and a bony crest on top of his head.

"Track down this bounty hunter you must, Obi-Wan." Yoda said.

"Most importantly, find out who he's working for." Windu said.

"What about Senator Amidala?" Obi-Wan asked. "She will still need protection."

"Handle that your Padawan will." Yoda said.

"Anakin, escort the senator back to her home planet of Naboo." Windu said. "She'll be safer there. And don't use registered transport. Travel as refugees."

"As the leader of the opposition, it will be very difficult to get Senator Amidala to leave the capital." Anakin.

"Until caught this killer is, our judgement she must respect. Hmm." Yoda said.

"Anakin, go to the senate..." Windu said. "... and ask Chancellor Palpatine to speak about this matter."

Both Obi-Wan and Anakin bowed their heads to the council before exiting the chamber.

(Hallway)

Exiting the elevator to the council tower, Obi-Wan and Anakin were about to start walking in the direction of the hangar so that Anakin could take a ship to the Chancellor's suite.

"Anakin!" A voice suddenly called.

Hearing the voice coming from behind them, Obi-Wan and Anakin turned around. When they did, they saw a 14 year-old boy with blond hair that covered half of his ears running towards them. He was wearing Jedi robes, but much like Anakin's, his robes were different from traditional robes. Instead of typical tan or brown, his was light gray, which were sleeveless, and he had leather wrap arm braces and leather foot wear, and he had a Lightsaber hilt hanging from his utility belt.

"Jaden." Anakin said smiling.

Obi-Wan chuckled. "I'll give you two a moment to catch up." He said.

As Obi-Wan walked to the side to let the brothers have a moment alone, Jaden ran up to his older brother and the two hugged after having not seen each other properly in a long time. Jaden had grown a lot since he came to the temple, since he now stood at 1.64 meters tall, but Anakin still towered him considerably.

"Look at you, little brother, you've grown quite a bit since the last time i saw you." Anakin said as they let go, ruffling his brothers hair a bit.

"Oh, stop it." Jaden grumbled embarrassed as he swapped Anakin's hand off of his hair before fixing it. "It's been, what, a year since we really last saw each other?"

"Yes." Anakin then looked at Jaden apologetically. "I've been so busy with Obi-Wan on missions that i haven't had time to check in with you."

Jaden only waved his hand slightly. "You don't have to apologise, Anakin. I've been busy training with the rest of the Clawmouse Clan myself." He then looked little proud. "You should see how much i've learned."
