Anakin and Padmé had made it back to the Naboo starship with R2, now joined by 3PO. Padmé was sitting on one of the pilots seats while Anakin was leaning his arm against a co-pilots seat, both looking at the holographic image of Obi-Wan's message.
"Anakin, my long-range transmitter has been knocked out." Obi-Wan in the message said. "Retransmit this message to Coruscant."
Padmé quickly turned the chair towards the computers and began to transmit the message to Chancellor's office while looking in on the message themselves. The Chancellor's office was filled not only with Palpatine, Amedda, Moore and Dar Wac, but Jedi like Yoda, Mace Windu, Plo Koon, Luminara Unduli, Barriss Offee and Stass Allie, a female Tholothian and Adi Gallia's relative, as well as Bail Organa, Jar Jar Binks and Ask Aak.
"I have tracked the bounty hunter, Jango Fett, to the droid foundries on Geonosis. The Trade Federation is to take delivery of a droid army here, and it is clear that Viceroy Gunray is behind the assassination attempts on Senator Amidala. The Commerce Guilds and the Corporate Alliance have both bledged their armies to Count Dooku and are forming a--"
Obi-Wan suddenly stopped as he looked away. "Wait. Wait."
He ignited his Lightsaber, and everyone watching saw Obi-Wan starting to deflect blaster fire shot at him. As Obi-Wan flew back, a destroyer droid took his place in the message.
"More happening on Geonosis, i feel, than has been revealed." Yoda said, looking up at Windu.
"I agree." Windu said, before turning back to the holoprojector, which was now showing Anakin. "Anakin, we will deal with Count Dooku. The most important thing for you is to stay where you are. Protect the senator at all costs. That is your first priority."
"Understood, Master." Anakin answered.
While Windu's holographic form disappeared from their end, Padmé looked towards Anakin. "They'll never get there in time to save him. They have to come halfway across the Galaxy. Look."
Turning back to the controls, Padmé started looking at the readout on the ships control panel, showing Tatooine was much closer to Geonosis. "Geonosis is less than a parsec away."
"If he's still alive." Anakin said, starting to pace around the cockpit.
"Ani, are you just gonna sit here and let him die? He's your friend, your mentor. He's--"
"He's like my father!" Anakin sharply turned to face her. "But you heard Master Windu. He gave me strick orders to stay here!"
"He gave you strick orders to protect me, and i'm going to help Obi-Wan." Padmé started flicking on more switches, and the engines of the ship started firing up. "If you plan to protect me, you'll just have to come along."
As Padmé started taking control over the ship, Anakin grinned at her and took a seat by the pilots seat next to hers. Meanwhile, 3PO was getting ready to sit down behind them, while R2 beeped at him.
"I'm not worried, R2. It's just i've never flown before." 3PO said.
Rising from the ground as sand flew everywhere, the starship zoomed to the skies.
Back in the Chancellor's office, the Jedi and the senators were all contemplating on what to do next, now what they new the separatists were preparing for war.
"The Commerse Guilds are preparing for war. There can be no doubt of that." Organa said, pacing around.
"Count Dooku must have made a treaty with them." Palpatine said.
"<The debate is over.>" Ask Aak said in Gran language. "<Now we need that clone army.>"
Organa turned to face Aak. "Unfortunately, the debate is not over. The senate will never approve the use of clones before the separatists attack."
