||Chapter 137: Old Grounds and Church||

Keith sighed, hoping Miguel was doing okay and. . . His friends; Natalie meant a lot to him, and probably as much as they did to Jay and Luanne.
"Keith?"
"Coming now."
Keith walked into the opening; The old construction site.
It was abandoned after Natalie's death, not sure what was to happen but. . . It wasn't happening anymore.
Ike looked around one the towers,"Anything up there?", "No, just boards, screws and an old TV; Controls up here for the crane.", "Alright, look around for a tape in case. . . Boards and screws?", Quentin nods,"Yeah, all either snapped or laying by the door, the door doesn't look to go; Looks like someone repeatedly broke it down, hinges are coming off.", Keith nods, Ike took a picture and looked over at Norman,"Anything?", "Not much, there is a generator; Seems like someone has been using it, dunno why. . . The mine cart does seem to go into the catacombs, so they were looking for something in there.", Keith nods, making notes and looked at the tracks,"Well, where do the tracks go? Ike you see anything??", Ike looked around,"Uuuuh. . . The Old Church, I see that or. . . What's left of it.", Keith nods, turning to Norman as he put the notebook in his jacket pocket,"Let's follow the train tracks.", Ike followed with them, Norman and himself making some small talk as Keith looked around.
Wary. . . Crowface was noted to be around these parts a lot and yet, not a peep.
"Hmm. . ."
"Oh, it leads to the old Church."

The old Church yard was falling apart, empty and long abandoned.
"Why is Crowface coming here?"
"Who knows. . . Place looks far worse than it did before."
Keith looked at him as Ike approached the church doors,"Before?", "Me, Norman and Theodore use to use this area as a shortcut to get up to The Weather Station, that's your choice if you need a quicker way up.", Keith nods,"Good to know. . . Not much left here, and. . . What's this?", Keith approached a big grave,"Uh. . . Looks like uh, what's the word? Family Mausoleum.", Norman pushed open the doors of the church, stunned to see a huge hole in the flooring.
"Basically a grave for multiple people, mom said it was more environmentally friendly if my memory is right. . . Dunno why it's the only one.", it was a pretty old cemetery.
Norman looked around, candles that were losing their wax: Someone has been coming here but for what and why?

Keith looked around it,"No name. . . I'll open it, seems like someone has been coming here.", Ike nods, turning to Norman and rushed after him,"Norman!", Ike watched him, reaching for some paper that was stuck in a tree,"Just. . . Let me. . .", he grabbed it, carefully climbed down and they looked at it, Norman holding up the flashlight.
"Oh. . . It's their wedding. . ."
"Adelle and Robert. . ."
It was  avery nice picture, Adelle in her wedding dress and Robert holding her close with his suit having star pins.
"They look so happy."
"They were. . . Happy."
Ike nods.
"Keith, maybe we could come back tomorrow during the day, would help."
"True. . . Just wanted to have a look as soon as I could."
They get up to leave, Norman paused turning back.
"Norman?"
"Sorry, just. . . Feel like someone is watching us."
Ike took his shoulder, wrapping his arm around him,"It's okay. . . Let's get that picture back to Ted.", Norman nods, still uneasy but followed Keith and stayed back with Ike.

Unaware a familiar figure was watching them closing, watching in worry and relief as Norman retrieved the picture.

"Where was it?"
Theodore put the picture in the album,"Heh, in the Old Church Yard; Shocking huh.", Theodore frowned, Norman taking some medicine,"What were they doing with it?", Norman shrugged,"Dunno. . . Maybe it was stolen, the back as a date so maybe they thought it was a code for something.", Ike sighed, Theodore shaking his head,"My father used Keys and if he had a code, it wouldn't have been a date.", Ike nods,"He's too smart for that.", they chuckle, Theodore smiled at the picture right back were it belonged.
