||Chapter 108: Christmas Play||

It was the night of the school play; Final day of school before they off for Christmas.

"It just doesn't make sense."
Trinity finished touching up her Wicked Witch face paint,"From the Fair Grounds to The Weather Station, to then ending with Crowface unable to speak a word as he, I'm assuming, choked on his words or couldn't talk.", Aaron adjusted the lion costume, his hoodie and tail,"Maybe because we've never heard them speak or, at least only heard what our parents say they sound like, like Dad said it sounded like each word caused him pain.", Trinity nods,"But the dream was weird, also scary to be chased around in board daylight, that was somehow worse.", also true, possibly the idea that no one sees you on trouble or sees and ignores you.
"Yeah, never again."
"I still find it odd, that Wicked has been out for years and only once the movie comes out people are making theories and videos, it's so entertaining."
Maritza nods, holding still as best she could as she gets her hair done,"Yeah, but why would Glinda not tell Dorothy about the train or the magic slippers?", Lucy finished, tapping her to let let her know and Maritza helped make sure the wings stayed on the wheelchair,"My theory is Munchkin Land doesn't have a train station, she wanted to buy more time for Elphaba or even, maybe she didn't know the shoes could do that until the end?", Maritza nods,"Yeah, true; But can't people settle that Wicked, it was all a team effort of messing up and playing into the Wizard's hands until act 2?", Lucy shook her head, smiling and Mya giggled,"A Team Effort?", "Yep; Cause, Elphaba gave him accidentally what he wanted, Glinda ended up being a backup because she came, then Glind lost her fiancée which lead to her blind rage and then Fhero didn't play along which lead to his demise.", Maritza shrugged,"All I'm saying here, it was a team effort.", Aaron shook his head,"Least they're in high spirits.", Trinity nods, luckily the dream didn't effect them much, but with everything happening she couldn't help but worry.
Finch spun her spear around,"I GOT A SPEAR!", she stood before Delory, who was dressed as the Wizard,"I shall be your guard and the Witch's guard.", "I've never seen so much green before until Wicked.", Trinity smiled as she got her broom,"You know, Delory seemed to have a lot of fun helping with costumes, sets and even practicing his lines.", Aaron nods, Trinity then went to help Enzo with his make up.

Aaron helped Nicky with the gloves,"It's gonna be great Nicky, a story we're all too familiar with!", Nicky nods,"Yeah, you know. . . Was there ever a scene, that scared you in the film? Like, for me it was the field of Poppies, it creeped me out and Uncle Jimmy.", Aaron nods,"Definitely, I found the Flying Monkeys to be so scary when I was younger.", Ivan passed by them,"Am I the only one who was scared of the Wizard before his reveal?", Aaron and Nicky looked at him.
"Nope."

The play went smoothly.
Jumping around on stage, Lucy had the most fun as she chased them with her wheelchair and their parents in the audience, recording and relaxing as the kids were. . . Being kids.

Delory's dog, who was brought in, went off after smelling something odd.
Upon sneaking the chairs to a small window that viewed the stage, a person in a cloak, hood and mask was watching the play.
They glanced at the dog, petting him,"Don't worry. . . Just here to watch.", the dog stayed there, just watching this odd person.

After the play, everyone was wished a merry Christmas and headed on, Delory and his mom walking the dog home, Nicky waving bye as his dad picked him up and took him home with his family and Mr Murtaugh, Wilson and Camila locked up the school for Christmas Vacation.
