The penthouse was nicely fixed with the ability of psychic powers. It was as if nothing was ever damaged in the first place.
Now Fubuki and Tatsumaki sat on the couch discussing what had happened ever since the tall beautiful Epser woke up.
"The aura he gave off was truly immense, much like how I told him when another Carnage came to this world but far more greater. It was paralyzing me like nothing I had ever felt before. The air around me was so thick and heavy it felt like I was going to pass out. All of my instincts were screaming not to approach Michael at all."
Tatsumaki was just staying silent the entire time, she wanted to listen to every word her little sister was saying, she asked, "Why did you approach if you sensed that he was a threat?"
Fubuki looks away for a moment to think of the right words until she looks at her sister in the eyes, "It was more like I had sensed that he was a threat to himself, he was literally harming himself, Tatsumaki. The injuries he had on him, his fingertips were bleeding from scraping the wall and himself so much, he bashed his own head on the wall. I knew that it had to be the cause of a nightmare."
"Has he ever had moments like that at all?"
Fubuki shook her head, "No, never. He always wakes up very casually as if it was just a regular thing for him. There are moments when he wakes up crying in tears or screaming like he's in pain, but this was definitely new. Whatever he saw, it must’ve really driven him over the edge, and he's been dealing with these nightmares for 10 years, Tatsumaki. 10 long years at the age of 15."
"Hmm…so what happened next?"
"...When I made my approach, I was feeling nauseated and shocked at the same time. I figured if Michael hears the sound of my voice like always, he would break free from whatever traumatized dream he saw, or I would have to try the other solution that would've worked."
Tatsumaki tilts her head in confusion, "What was the other solution?"
Fubuki averted her gaze while rubbing the back of her neck, a habit she picked from spending a lot of time with Michael whenever he got nervous or shy, a blush also appeared on her cheeks, "I…would sing to him."
Tatsumaki blinks in surprise, "Sorry? You what?"
Fubuki clears her throat, "I would sing to him. Very soothing, gentle, and calm. That would help him wake up from a nightmare 100%."
"Since when do you sing?"
"Never, not when I first started shortly after we married. Besides Michael you're the second person I told this to. He… always said I had a natural talent to sing like an angel. I could even get a job as a talented singer right off the bat. His words, not mine."
"Before we continue, I want to hear it."
Fubuki blinked in surprise at her sister, "Wait… What?"
"I want to hear how you sing. What does Michael hear in his ears that makes him think he's entering heaven. Knowing him, he's definitely telling the truth." Tatsumaki lets out a little laugh.
"...Do I have to?"
"Only if you want to."
Fubuki sighs, she takes a moment to clear her throat to prepare herself, even Tatsumaki is pretty excited herself on the inside.
After her singing had stopped, there were no words, there were definitely no words to describe how Tatsumaki felt at this very moment until her own eyes were watering.
Tatsumaki felt the liquid run down her cheeks when she quickly wiped them off, "...Wow. Just wow."
Fubuki smiled, "Michael had the same reaction."
