"What do we do?" Clarke says and I glare at her. "You should have asked that before you shot Dante" the radio statics and Cage's voice comes in.

"You killed my father, now I'm going to hurt someone you love" He says and we all move to the security monitor and they pull in a group of people slowly taking off the sacks.

At Melantha my heart drops. What is she doing here?

"I want you to know I'm serious" He says and bends down in front of Melantha.

I feel my heart pick up. They're going to hurt her.

"Do you know Bellamy Blake?" He asks, holding down on the walkie.

Melantha shrugs through the screen. "Never heard of him" "This one"

I reach forward though there's nothing I can do. Her eyes widen as they yank her up. "No!" Kane and Abby yell.

"I want you to hear and watch her die," Cage says. "Monty do something!" I yell and he starts typing fast.

"NO, NO" She screams but a guard kicks her in the leg and shuts her up as they throw her onto the table strapping her down as she starts thrashing widely.

"NO, Not again please" She whimpers and Cage looks at the camera. He leans forward and whispers something to her and she shakes her head.

The doctor presses a hand on her leg. "NO!" She screams. Then they put the drill in her. A shrill and painful scream escapes her mouth.

"MONTY!" I yell and he shakily moves faster.

"I'm going down there" I go to leave and Clarke steps in front of me. "Emerson is out there" "They're drilling her!" I yell hearing her screams continue through the walkie.

"Got it," Monty says. "Then do it" I snap and he points at the lever. "All you have to do is pull" Clarke puts a hand on it and I place my hand on top of hers.

"Together" I say and she nods as we pull it.

I run down halls as fast as I can, reaching level five. I burst into the room seeing Melantha sitting up on the table, Kane holding her up as she leaned over.

"Amy!" I push past people and over to her standing in front scanning her. Instead of a warm welcome which I expect she slides down to the floor pushing past me and goes to give Harper a hug.

What?

She says something to her and then moves to Monty who's beside me hugging him tightly. "Thought you were dead Green" "Can't get rid of me Mercantile" She pats his head and smiles still avoiding eye contact with me.

"Amy" I say trying to get her attention but she brushes past me. Octavia walks over. "What happened?" I ask and watch as she and Lincoln hug and start talking.

"You left Bell, you didn't tell her. I don't blame her. She's gone down again, back to how bad she was before" My heart sinks.

She was getting better, I ruined that. "I promised I wouldn't do this" "You've brought this upon yourself, give her time"

We reached camp and two days later Melantha is still not talking to me. I see her limping around camp and helping Abby but other than that not really. She won't talk to me.

"Thinking about taking a trip to Mount Weather, you in?" Miller asks, walking over. I nod. "Who's coming" "Abby, and Mel, They want to check medical supplies" "I'm in"

She will have to talk to me if it's just a couple of us. We leave a couple hours later, Melantha planting herself next to Miller with gun in hand as they talk.

"Just be patient, she's a stubborn girl," Abby says, laying a hand on my shoulder. "I left" "She will understand, you have to understand this isn't the first time this has happened, she's hurting"

"How did she get arrested?" I ask and Abby sighs. "It was stupid, almost like she did it on purpose, she took some medicine right in front of Shumway. I still don't understand to this day why she did it. She wanted to get arrested" Abby frowns while looking ahead at Melantha.

We reach Mount Weather and Abby and Melantha exchange a look. "You boys wait out here, we'll let you know when we need you" Abby says and I narrow my eyes. "I don't think that's a good i-" "Just listen," She says, giving her motherly glare.

Miller and I exchange a look and situate ourselves outside the door. Thirty minutes goes by and I sigh. "I'm checking on them" Miller nods and I walk in seeing Melantha sitting on a medical chair and Abby running an x-ray. I stare at it.

It's a heart but it's messed up. I'm not a doctor but even I can tell it's horrible.

"Is that your heart?" I ask and they both turn to me and Melantha's mouth drops slightly. "No, it's one of the old patients, was just checking Melantha bone marrow injuries" Abby says and Melantha mouth closes looking down.

"Did they die from it? Looks pretty bad ""It is, if they didn't die because of being drained they would have died from the heart" Abby says pointly.

"Guess they were lucky they didn't have to go through that" "Right" Abby says looking at Melantha hard. "You two almost done?" I ask and Abby nods, grabbing her bag.

"I'm going to check the fourth floor real quick, I'll take Miller you two stay here" She says and Melantha opens her mouth to object but Abby's already running out. Melantha stays quiet sitting on the table.

"Are your injuries healing ok?" I ask and she nods without saying anything. You know she's mad when she doesn't respond.

"I-I'm sorry, I was doing what I thought was right" I admit setting my gun on a chair near me. "Was lying to me right too?" She asks glaringly.

"No of course n-"I sigh and run a hand through my hair. "I was doing it to get our friends out, to protect you" "And how's that working out?" She asks, gesturing to her leg.

My heart sinks. It's my fault.

"You weren't supposed to be there" "So it's ok for you to help save our friends but the second I try to do something it's not?"

I know she's not mad about that. Hell she's not mad about me being in Mount Weather. She's mad about me leaving and lying.

"I was going to tell you" I whisper. "Before or after you were in there?"

"Amy" I groan and she hopes off the table. "Don't call me that, it's not my name" She practically growls out. I step forward and reach her as she steps back but I grab her hand.

"I know I can never make it up to you and I did a horrible thing putting you in danger, having to wat-" I bite the inside of my cheek the memories of watching her get tortured.

"I'm a horrible person and I don't care if everyone else hates me because I pulled the lever but gosh if you hate me I don't know what I'll do. I need you" her face softens before going cold again.

"You left me" "I did, I'm not asking for you to forgive me right now but I do need to know you don't hate me"

"And what if I do hate you?" She asks me and I let a small smile grow.

"You can't hate me, I'm amazing" She reaches her hand up smacking me. "You're a cocky git" a small smile escapes her lips.

"Tell me how you feel?" I ask. She pauses a moment.

"Lonely, not good enough" Stabbing pain enters my stomach. I pull her into a hug. "I never want you to have to feel like that"

 "Doesn't matter. I always will"

I pull back holding her face in my hands. "No you won't, I'll do better, be better and help. I want to make you happy" She lets out a chuckle tears welling up in her eyes.

"That's quite a big task, are you sure you want to stay that long?" "I want to stay forever" "That's a long time" She murmurs. "Good, Because I want it to be for eternity"
