"Where's Kane, the vote should have been done by now" I ask annoyed, we shouldn't be in here. We should be killing those grounders.

"He's busy" a guard says "With what?" I ask.

"Someone got hurt, he's busy helping her" I notice Bellamy look up.

"Who is it?" He asks and the guard shrugs. "Couldn't tell you" a few seconds later a man is thrown in hitting the ground with a thud.

I glare at the guard and bend down. "You alright sir?" I ask. "No" He groans and sits up.

Bellamy stiffens and I give him a look. "Bellamy?" He steps forward.

"Why are you here?" He seethes out. The man looks up with a cruel smile, his fingers and knuckles bloodied and bruised.

"Ah you're her little puppet, hmm"

"What did you do? Did you hurt her?" He clenches his fists and I step in front of him.

"Whoa, Bellamy breathe"

"DID YOU HURT HER!" He screams and jumps forward.

He must be talking about Melantha, in fact that's all he talks about.

The man chuckles and I give him an unimpressed look. He moves to the door. "Miller!" He turns and walks over.

"M-Amy is she ok?" He asks and Miller straightens. "I don't know"

"Yes you do!" "Sorry Bellamy, that's classified" Bellamy grabs onto the bars.

"I need to know if she's ok! Miller!" He jerks at the bars and starts kicking at the door. "Bellamy calm down!" I yell and grab his hands holding them behind his back.

"Breathe" He does but it's fast.

"IS SHE OK?" He yells hoping for anyone to answer.

"Hopefully she's dead" Bellamy snaps his head to the man ripping out of my arms and punching him hard before me and someone else rip him off.

"If you hurt her I'll kill you! Hear me? I'll kill you!"

"Congratulations, Chancellor," Kane says bitterly as he hands me the pin.

"As my first act of Chancellor I clear myself and everyone with me of any crimes. My second act, we finish what we started."

"Thank you Kane, that will be all" I say and Bellamy stands there stiffly. "You have a job son, are you prepared to do it? She will be here when you get back" I need to know where he stands. He stares at me for a long moment before nodding.

"Good lets go"

"Did Bellamy not come and see you yet?" Octavia asks with Lincoln following her closely as they enter. I shake my head, not wishing to talk as it hurts too much.

"He and Pike left" She says and my heart drops. They are going to kill them.

"Are you ok?" Lincoln asks lightly, touching my neck. "No" I croak out and their eyes soften.

"They're in lock up, you don't have to worry anymore" Kane says appearing.

"I'll always have to worry," I admit. "How long has it been happening?" Kane asks.

"Six" Lincoln grabs my hand squeezing it tightly.

I think I got a pretty good best friend.

"I got myself arrested at fifteen "I say and Kane swallows hard.
