Chapter 34

We are put on our knees guns to our head. "This is not good" I say and Bellamy gives me a look.

"Take the chip," Jaha says, bending down and holding it out. "Um I think we are good"

"Amen sista" Miller says.

Jaha stands with a girl by his side. "Ki-" His words fall off his lips as the door opens.

My mouth drops. Murphy walks in. Murphy, Indra, and Pike.

Oh, someone is going to die today.

My eyes darken. "Guns down," Murphy says as they walk over. He reaches a hand out to me.

"Missed you Lana" I reach out and slap him. Hard. He winces but I step forward and hug him tightly.

"You asshole" "I know, I'm sorry" I pull back and pat his shoulder.

"Indra, I'm glad you're ok" I walk over and grip her hand in a shake. She nods and I then turn to Pike. "We need him, kill him later" Indra says, glancing at me and Octavia.

I keep my eyes on him as he glances at me. "Melantha, how are you doing?" Hatred, I have never felt such hatred. My thoughts drift to Lincoln. He killed my best friend.

I go to jump forward but my waist is gripped and I'm pulled back. "I'll kill you! Hear me? I'll kill you!" I'm pulled away and into a corner, my breath picking up heavily as I look at Miller and Bellamy.

"Let me kill him" I grit out.

"We need as many people right now, trust me I want to kill him too" Miller says and I clench my teeth hard, fingers digging into my palms.

"Breathe Amy" Bellamy leans close, grabbing my hand and trying to uncurl it. "Do you still think what he did was right?" I ask.

"No," He says without hesitation.

"Good, I'll wait, not for him. For you" I stand on my toes and press a kiss to his cheek.

"Let's move out ladies" I call and leave Bellamy blushing.

We get up to the top to see Clarke tied up and Abby hanging from the ceiling. I jump up grabbing my knife off my belt, she falls and Miller and Murphy catch her as Bellamy goes to Clarkes side.

Ew.

"Lock this place up" Pike says and I scowl at him as I push a couch against a door. "It won't take them long to get here, we have to have a plan" I say, pointing out the obvious.

"I'll take the north window, Melantha with me?" Octavia says and I follow her.

I hear screaming and turn. "They need help, go we got this" Octavia says and gives Pike a foul look. I ran out seeing them broken through.

"Don't let them get to Clarke!" Bellamy yells and I nod immediately going into action trying to only knock them out. I receive a punch in the face and fall backwards.

I stare up at Kane. "Kane it's me!" I yell and he just jumps on me and starts squeezing my neck hard.

"K-Kane" I gasp out and then he stops. His eyes widen and he jumps off me.

I lean over gasping. I cough until air goes back into my lungs.

I look to see people crying and screaming.

"Melantha with me" I turn to Abby and I follow her as we sneak into the Kings tent. "Second time I've done this" I whisper and start helping Abby work on him.

"Get them out of here!" Echo runs in yelling. My hands have a knife in his side preparing to take it out when a grounder holds a knife to my neck.

"Step back" She yells at me. "I can't, He will die" I tried not to cut anything while trying not to get cut. "Get them out of here" She yells and I look down to see the King moving.

"Hey, dude now would be a good time to wake up. '' I whisper and poke his side carefully, removing the knife and pressing a bandage to his side as he sits up.

"Don't move" I mutter and he pushes me away getting off the table. "That's enough Echo, stand down"

"My King" She bows and nods to the grounders who drop their weapons.

"Lexa honored the coalition and so shall I" He says and Echo frowns disappointed. "That is fantastic but please sit down" I say and push on his shoulder. He gives me a look and sits down.

"Thank you" I quickly stitched him up, this time the bullet going straight through. "Amy," Bellamy calls.

"Minute" I say and take one last stitch before placing a bandage over. "Let me check this tomorrow, ok?" He stares at me long and hard.

"Um you good?" I ask and he nods. "Thank you Mel" "You're welcome your majesty" I joke and he shakes his head. "Roan, call me Roan"

"Cool beans, got to go before George explodes" he smiles small and I salute and walk out wiping my hands off trying to get rid of the blood.

"What's up?" I ask. "We are leaving, Need to get out of here" I freeze.

"Don't" He says looking at me. "I have to stay, I'll be ok. I have to patch everyone up. Make sure the king stays alive "

"I'll stay too ""No" I say quickly, stepping forward. "Our people need you"

"I need you" I bit my lip to let the smile come out.

"You'll be ok, I'll see you soon. Ok?" He slowly nods and I grab him by his neck pulling him into a hug. "Be safe"

"As long as you will" "Deal" He kisses my forehead and I smile.

"Take care of Kane too, he blames himself" He nods, stepping back.
