Three months later: 

Melantha Pov

"Come on Lincoln" I cheer as Bellamy turns glaring at me.

"Bros before hoes man" I say and he scoffs at Lincoln hitting him in his moment of distraction.

 In a few seconds Bellamy lands flat on the ground with a thud. 

"Yay! Lincoln five, George zero" I say dramatically and Bellamy stands up. 

"Good job Linc" I say and pat his back as he smiles amused. "Thanks" Bellamy scoffs, reaching for his shirt as I admire his sweat stained chest as I imagine other girls do too. 

As soon as he slips it on I jump forward on his back placing my head on his shoulder. "You smell" "Maybe you shouldn't jump on me then" He groans, grabbing my legs. 

"I hate walking" "I know" 

"What are we doing today?" I ask and he ignores the question looking at Lincoln. "See you later, finish training?"

"Yeah, Tiger, are you going with him or helping here?" He asks. "I'll go with stinky" He scoffs. "Maybe you should stay "He mumbles and I pinch his cheek. "Don't be rude, you love me" we walk down, well more like he walks and I talk all the way down to the garage. 

"Just checking the sectors" He finally responds to my earlier question. We reach the rover where Jasper is drunk standing and Monty with a frown on his face. 

"I swear you two are always together," Raven says, limping forward. Assuming she's talking to the boys until she turns to us. 

"Us?" I gesture back and forth between me and Bellamy. ''Yes, you the one literally on him right now "

"We don't hang out all the time" I say and then my mind drifts to find a day where we don't spend time together. "Oh my gosh we do" I jump down and pretend to wipe my hands off and fake gag. 

"Eww, gross" Bellamy simply rolls his eyes. "You do spend a lot of time together" Monty says and I glare. 

"I can't hang out with you anymore George I'm sorry" "You're so dramatic, we aren't together all the time"

 "Name a day where you haven't been together" Raven says raising an eyebrow. 

All he can come up with is looking at me with a smirk. "You like me"

 "AHH kill me now!" I scream and grab Monty's arm. "He figured out that I like him, can you believe it" I gasp dramatically and Miller chuckles appearing behind me.

 "You're in a good mood today" He says and I roll my eyes. "It's called depression Miller, one second you're happy and the next you're not, do you want me to be sad and depressed Miller? I thought you were better than that'' his face drops and so do the others. 

"What? I'm just joking "

"Let's go, is Octavia coming?" Raven asks. "I'm sure she wouldn't miss a chance to go outside the walls" Bellamy says.

 We file into the rover and I sit next to Monty as Miller laughs at the face Bellamy makes. "You're ridiculous" He mumbles and I look up at the ceiling vehicle. 

"Monty can you please tell George that I will not be able to talk to him today "Monty raises an eyebrow as if to say really? Halfway through our drive Jasper starts playing music and Monty jumps up but I shake my head. 

"Let him" He frowns but sits back down as everyone starts signing. As Jasper's favorite song I've memorized it pretty easily. We sing until a beeping cuts us off. Raven slams on the brakes and I move forward staring at the screen. 

"It's farm stations beacon" I breathe out my heart beating fast.

 No. No. No. Please no. 

"Where?" Bellamy asks, leaning over me, his breath grazing my face. "Not far, in Ice Nation though" He scoots back and I sit down. 

"Procedure says to check with Kane "Octavia says from the door and Bellamy hesitates. "Monty, Amy, and Miller. You choose you all had people on Farm Station" I choose not to answer knowing my answer would be no. 

That's not fair though. Monty has parents. Miller has a boyfriend. "Yes" I say though my whole entire body screams the opposite. Monty nods and Miller says yes.

 "Think you can keep up?" Raven asks Octavia and she responds by closing the door. Fifteen minute drive but it feels so much longer as the anxiety eats me up. I start making my palms bleed without realizing.

 I dab them on my pants and look up to see Bellamy staring at me with worry in his eyes. I'm fine. I mouth to him and he frowns. "We are here" We all get out. 

"Guns up, remember don't shoot" Bellamy says. "We've been doing this for months, I think we know '' He bumps my shoulder. 

We get into position as I stay towards Bellamy as riders exit the woods and I notice the red hanging from one of their necks. "O, translate, we aren't here for trouble. Just looking for our people, you have their tracer how?" he says something back and I recognize the words. Lincoln has been teaching me and Octavia.

 "Wanheda? Whose that?" I ask and Octavia shrugs speaking back to them. "They say we have Wanheda" She says to Bellamy and Jasper walks forward ripping it off his neck. 

My eyes widen and the grounder presses a knife to Jasper's throat. Then he smiles slowly and raises it laughing. Bellamy's gun lets loose a bullet shooting the guy who almost killed Jasper. I run forward as they are shooting the others and grab Jasper pulling him hard away from the battle and immediately grab the med kit pressing a bandage to his neck. 

"You idiot!" I yell and he simply rolls his eyes and tries to push me off. "Stop it!" I smack away his hand. 

"Don't act like you're any different from me Melantha, You're just like me. You want to die too" He laughs and I push down the gutting feeling in my stomach and press the bandage harder making him wince. 

"He needs treatment now, Tavia" She nods and we push him on the horse with her and they take off. My heart beating fast I turned back to the others seeing four dead grounders. 

"We are in so much trouble"
