I walked briskly through the school's halls with my hands in my pocket, hood on and, Jay beside me. As we advanced to my class, I could hear whispers and mockery concerning the 'date' I had with Tristan because of the photo Caleb shared.

A dark skinned girl with braids in and, her shorter strawberry blonde friend both snickered at me from the sidelines.

"How was your date Gwen!?" The blonde called while the other laughed. "Hope it wasn't too cold!"

Jay's hands balled onto fists. "How's your mom Sarah!?" He retorted causing the hall to go completely silent. The Sarah girl was taken aback with tears brimmed about to say something when, I rushed Jay out of the scene towards my class.

"Are you out of your mind!?" I whispered angrily, "Her boyfriend is a senior."

Jay didn't answer me verbally. He only shrugged at my scolding.

When some more random people started calling out to me and making fun of me, I decided we had to get out of the halls as soon as possible before Jay could retaliate so, I rushed to class soon realizing the halls were way better because Tristan and, his friends were there.

My luck really is trash.

Tristan was leaning against the wall with his military green backpack hung on one shoulder. The other boys were randomly seated lazily at different chairs or tables in the class.

"What's up Jay-" The grey eyed boy began.

His sentence was interrupted by Jay's fist.

I sighed and hid my head in my palms. This, was exactly  what I was trying to avoid.

Caleb's nose was now bleeding. The boy cursed holding his likely broken nose in his bloody hands.

"What the fuck Jay!"

Jay aggressively held him by his collar and slammed him against the wall. "Why the fuck did you do that to Gwen! You know how things are with her!"

"It was a joke!" Tristan yelled in a defensive tone, "Not my fault your side chick is a softie!!!"

"Jay!" Ares barked, "How could you just punch your best friend in the face because of a stupid girl!?"

Jay ignored him, "How could you use someone like that for a stupid bet!? She trusted you, you asshole!"

Embarrassment was right beside me at that comment not hesitating to wrap me in a warm and pink embrace.

"And whose fault is that!?" Tristan spat, "If she wasn't such an idiot and rejected my date, we wouldn't be in this situation but, she accepted me and now I have a hundred dollars."He wore a lazy and evil smirk on his face.

That was the last straw for Jay. At this climax, he was dragging Tristan out into the hall by his neck, fighting the other boys off.

When he said he'd bite the curb. He wasn't joking.

Like every fight scene at school, a crowd had gathered to watch the events unfold with their phones in hand filming every single moment for the sake of likes and views. The other boys had given up on trying to save Tristan.

They were coming for me instead.

I ran as fast as I could to the classroom down the hall, not bothering to look behind me as I could hear their heavy and angry footsteps against the tiles. Ares, the angry one, shouted after me yelling something about me being a slut.

That was new.

I flung open the door and ran inside but, Leo, I think he is the bold one, was faster. He grabbed me from behind forcing my arms beside me and preventing any movement from them. I kicked and screamed not only because I was terrified but, because he was rubbing the burns I got from Lisa.
