As Kayli and Trevon lay sleeping peacefully, the ringtone of Kayli's phone sliced through the quiet of the early morning. Kayli groggily reached for her phone, squinting at the bright screen. Seeing Miracle's name flash across it, she quickly swiped to answer, careful not to wake Trevon.

"Hey, Miracle, what's up?" Kayli whispered, her voice husky with sleep.

"Morning, Boo! Sorry to wake you up so early," Miracle apologized with her usual bubbly tone. "I'm throwing a little get-together at my place tonight and I wanted to make sure you and Trevon could come. It's been too long since we all hung out!"

Kayli, now more awake, sat up slightly, brushing her hair out of her face. "That sounds like fun! Let me check with Trevon, but I think we should be free. What time are you thinking?"

"Start around 7 PM. Nothing fancy, just some good food, music, and the best company," Miracle replied cheerfully.

"Sounds perfect. I'll let you know for sure once I talk to Trevon, but count us in," Kayli said, smiling at the thought of a relaxing evening with friends.

"Awesome! I'll text you the details. Go back to sleep now, and I'll see you tonight!" Miracle said before hanging up.

Kayli set the phone down and looked over at Trevon, who was still sleeping soundly. She brushed a lock of hair from his forehead and lay back down, her mind now drifting to the evening plans. A get-together at Miracle's was just what they needed—a chance to unwind and enjoy some downtime with friends.

Later that morning, after they both woke up properly and shared a lazy breakfast, Kayli mentioned the invitation to Trevon.

"Miracle is having a get-together tonight at her place. She invited us to come. What do you think?" Kayli asked, pouring them both some coffee.

Trevon took a sip and nodded. "Sounds great. It'll be nice to catch up with everyone. What time do we need to be there?"

"Starts at 7," Kayli replied, settling down at the table with her mug. "Should be a fun night!"

"Definitely," Trevon agreed, a smile spreading across his face. "It's been a while since we all hung out together. Looking forward to it."

As the afternoon rolled around, Kayli and Trevon prepared for their evening at Miracle's house.

Kayli stood in front of her closet, pulling out different outfits. She settled on a soft, floral-printed summer dress that flattered her figure and gave her a comfortable yet stylish look.

After slipping it on, she stepped in front of the mirror to apply a touch of makeup—just enough to accentuate her features but maintain a natural appearance. She let her hair down, letting it fall in loose waves around her shoulders, and finished the look with a pair of simple hoop earrings and matching sandals.

Meanwhile, Trevon was in their bedroom, choosing his outfit with less deliberation but equal care. He opted for a pair of clean, well-fitted jeans paired with a light blue button-down shirt that brought out his eyes. Knowing the evening was casual, he rolled up his sleeves for a relaxed look and slipped into his favorite sneakers.

As they both finished getting ready, Trevon glanced at Kayli and smiled appreciatively. "You look great," he commented, his eyes twinkling with admiration.

"Thanks," Kayli replied, giving a playful twirl. "You're not looking too bad yourself."

Kayli grabbed her small clutch bag, tossing in her essentials—phone, wallet, and keys—while Trevon double-checked that they had everything they needed for the night.

Before leaving, they stood together in front of the hallway mirror for a quick check. Satisfied with their reflections smiling back at them, Trevon held out his arm, which Kayli took with a smile.
