Thursday came faster than Kayli expected. She woke up to the sound of her alarm and quickly got ready for the day.

After a light breakfast, she packed her bag with all the necessary materials for her classes and the meeting with Andrew. The anticipation of their group project meeting filled her with a mix of excitement and determination.

Arriving on campus, Kayli made her way to the library, weaving through the bustling crowd of students. The library, a large, modern building with expansive glass windows, was a hub of activity. She glanced at her watch—she was right on time.

Kayli spotted Andrew sitting at a table near the back, surrounded by stacks of books and his laptop already open. He waved as she approached, and she returned his friendly gesture with a smile.

"Hey, Kayli! Glad you could make it," Andrew said, standing up to greet her.

"Hi, Andrew! Of course, I wouldn't miss it," she replied, setting her bag down and pulling out her notebook and laptop.

They both settled in, and Andrew opened a document on his screen. "I found a few articles on cognitive behavioral therapy and its applications. There's also some interesting research on the psychological impact of social media. I thought we could start by reviewing these and see where they overlap."

Kayli nodded, impressed by Andrew's preparation. "That sounds perfect. I also brought a couple of journal articles on CBT that might be useful. Let's start by going through what we have and brainstorming some ideas on how to structure our project."

They spent the next hour diving into the research, discussing key points, and taking notes. Kayli felt a sense of synergy with Andrew as they bounced ideas off each other. Their different perspectives added depth to their discussions, and they quickly realized they made a great team.

"I think we should focus on how cognitive behavioral therapy can mitigate the negative effects of social media use, especially among adolescents," Kayli suggested, highlighting a section in one of the articles.

"That's a great angle," Andrew agreed. "We can look at case studies and existing interventions to support our arguments. It would also be interesting to include some recent statistics on social media usage and its correlation with mental health issues."

Kayli nodded, jotting down his ideas. "Definitely. We could divide the work—one of us could handle the CBT aspect, and the other could focus on the social media impact. Then we can bring it all together for our presentation."

"Sounds good to me," Andrew said, smiling. "Which part would you prefer to work on?"

"I'd love to dive into the CBT part," Kayli replied. "It's an area I'm really passionate about."

"Great, I'll take on the social media impact then," Andrew said. "Let's set some deadlines for ourselves so we stay on track."

They spent a few more minutes organizing their tasks and agreeing on a timeline. With the project seeming more manageable now, Kayli was more eager to start working on her section.

As they wrapped up their meeting, Andrew looked at Kayli with a thoughtful expression. "By the way, there's a psychology club meeting tomorrow. They're discussing some interesting topics, and I think it could be beneficial for our project. Are you interested in going?"

Kayli's eyes lit up. "That sounds like a great idea! I'd love to go."

"Awesome. I'll text you the details," Andrew said, gathering his things. "This was a productive meeting. Thanks, Kayli."

"Thank you, Andrew. I'm really excited about our project," she replied, packing up her own belongings.

After leaving the library, Kayli made her way to a small café just off campus where she had planned to meet Anita for lunch.
