January📍

The day of Kayli and Trevon's baby shower had finally arrived, and the excitement in the air was palpable. The vintage Winnie the Pooh theme that they had chosen for the shower had come together beautifully.

The soft pinks, creams, and muted greens set the perfect tone for the day, making the venue feel cozy, whimsical, and welcoming.

Honey pots were scattered across the tables as centerpieces, along with blush roses and baby's breath, while plush Winnie the Pooh and Piglet toys sat on each table, giving the room a soft, nostalgic charm.

As friends and family started to arrive, there was an immediate buzz of energy. Everyone was excited to celebrate the soon-to-arrive baby Saylor, and Kayli could feel the love radiating from every corner of the room. Trevon stayed close by her side, beaming with pride as he greeted their guests.

The room was set up perfectly, with one side dedicated to games and activities and the other to food and drinks. A large dessert table featured a small, beautiful cake with Saylor Amor Gardner written in a vintage script, along with honeycomb-shaped cookies, cupcakes, and other treats inspired by the Hundred Acre Wood.

Janelle, the party planner, had organized everything to run smoothly, and she started the event by gathering everyone together for the first round of games. The first game on the agenda was "Guess the Baby Food." A table was set up with jars of baby food with the labels removed, and each guest had to smell or taste the baby food to guess the flavor.

Laughter filled the room as guests made faces, some immediately identifying the flavors, while others struggled with more unusual ones like "pureed peas" or "squash."

Kayli sat back, enjoying the fun as she watched her friends and family dive into the games. Trevon joined in, much to everyone's amusement, and quickly guessed several flavors correctly.

He shot Kayli a playful grin after winning the game, holding up his small prize—a jar of honey shaped like a Winnie the Pooh bear.

Next up was the "Diaper Raffle," where guests who brought a pack of diapers were entered into a drawing to win a prize.

Kayli and Trevon were overwhelmed by the number of diapers people had brought—it was clear their friends and family were making sure they were well-stocked for Saylor's arrival.

After drawing a winner for the raffle, Kayli and Trevon couldn't stop smiling, feeling grateful for all the support they were receiving.

One of the most popular games of the day was "Guess the Size of Kayli's Belly." Each guest was given a piece of string and had to guess how long it needed to be to wrap around Kayli's baby bump.

There was laughter and friendly competition as guests tried to measure just the right length, and when it came time to wrap the string around Kayli's belly, the room erupted into cheers as one guest came remarkably close.

Trevon couldn't help but tease Kayli, joking about how much their baby girl had grown over the past few months.

After the games wrapped up, Janelle announced that it was time to eat. The brunch-style buffet was set up with a delicious spread—mini quiches, finger sandwiches, fresh fruit platters, and Trevon's personal favorite: fried chicken.

Guests eagerly filled their plates, enjoying the light but satisfying meal while chatting and sharing stories about parenthood.

Kayli and Trevon took a moment to sit together, holding hands as they watched their guests enjoy themselves. "This is perfect," Kayli said softly, her heart full. "Everything turned out exactly how I imagined."
