A Few Weeks Later.

Trevon leaned back in his chair, eyes tired but reflective. The city buzzed in the background as he and Terry sat on the balcony of Terry's spot. The night air was cool, providing a brief relief from the heat of the day.

"Man, life after this tour... it's gonna be different," Trevon said, breaking the silence. He swirled the drink in his hand, his thoughts seeming far away.

Terry nodded, leaning forward, elbows on his knees. "Yeah, I feel you, bro. But you done made it, T. Ain't no goin' back now. You put in the work, and now it's time to enjoy the fruits of your labor."

Trevon gave a half-smile, but it didn't reach his eyes. "For real though, T, there's somethin' I been keepin' low-key. Kayli's pregnant."

Terry's eyes widened, surprise evident in his expression. "Damn, for real? How far along is she?"

"'Bout to be 15 weeks," Trevon said, a hint of pride and anxiety mixing in his voice. He took another sip of his drink, trying to mask the nerves that were creeping up.

Terry sat back, letting the information sink in. "15 weeks, huh? That's wild, bro. You ready for that? Like, really ready?"

Trevon sighed, running a hand over his head. "I don't even know, man. It's a lot. I mean, I'm excited, but at the same time... I'm scared, T. This music thing is finally poppin' off, and now there's a whole new life on the way. I'm tryin' to balance it all, but sometimes it feels like everything's crashing down on me at once."

Terry nodded, his tone turning serious. "I get that, bro. But look, you've always been about that grind. You hustled your way to the top, and now you got another reason to keep pushin'. But don't get it twisted, you gotta be there for Kayli too. You know how important that is, right?"

Trevon nodded slowly, the weight of Terry's words settling in. "Yeah, I know. I've been tryin' to make sure she's good, but I ain't gon' lie, it's hard. I told her my career comes first, and that caused some tension. I don't want her to think I ain't all in with this baby, but I gotta keep movin' with my music too, you feel me?"

Terry looked Trevon dead in the eyes, his voice firm. "I feel you, but you gotta find that balance, T. This ain't just about you no more. You got Kayli, and soon you'll have a little one lookin' up to you. You gotta show them both that you can handle this. You gotta prove to Kayli that she and that baby are just as important as the music."

Trevon nodded, absorbing what Terry was saying. "You right, T. I just... I guess I'm still tryin' to figure it all out, you know? I don't wanna let nobody down."

Terry smiled, clapping a hand on Trevon's shoulder. "Ain't nobody say it was gonna be easy, bro. But if there's anyone who can juggle all this, it's you. You've been through worse and came out on top. This? This is just another challenge. And trust me, when that baby comes, you gon' see things in a whole new light."

Trevon smiled, feeling a bit lighter after the conversation. "Appreciate you, T. You always know what to say, man."

Terry chuckled, "That's what I'm here for, bro. Just keep your head on straight, and don't be afraid to lean on the people who got your back. You ain't in this alone."

Time slipped away from Trevon as he got lost in the whirlwind of his thoughts and the conversation with Terry. He checked his watch, realizing it was time to pick up Kayli from her classes.

"Damn, I gotta bounce, T," Trevon said, rising from his chair with a sense of urgency. "We got our 15-week check-up today. Can't be late for that."

Terry gave him a nod, understanding the significance. "Go handle your business, bro. Make sure everything's good with Kayli and the baby."
