Flashback continues:

The Wei couple were really tensed . They were trying their best to get to know about the whereabouts of Wei Zhan but uptill now they got no clue.

Changse Saren was crying . She was afraid thinking what can happen in future if they didn't found Zhan.  What if Zhan gets in the hand of a wrong person ?

Negative thoughts were coming in Saren's mind . Wei Changze was trying to comfort her . He himself was sad and tensed but he was comforting his wife .

Wei ying was crying calling his gege. He was missing his gege. Grandma Xiao was with Wei ying . She was taking care of him as the Wei couple weren't home. They were out to look for Wei Zhan.

Time passed by . Days turned into weeks , weeks turned into months and months into years but still...there wasn't any sign of Wei Zhan.

Wei ying was now 13 years old . He don't remember that he had a twin brother who got lost.

Wei ying got sick after Wei Zhan went missing . Wei ying had a weak core so he didn't recovered faster . He remained sick for days. Healers did checked him and gave him medicine but still there wasn't any chance of recovery any sooner .

After more than a week , Wei Ying felt better . He was in fever these days . His fever affected him due to which he lost his memory. Saren was heartbroken. She couldn't bear the pain . But she remained strong.

Saren still misses her son too much. Her mom instincts are telling her that Wei Zhan is still alive.

One day, the Wei couple went on a night hunt. They took Wei ying with themselves too as Wei ying was being stubborn saying that 'he wants to go on a night hunt with his parents' .

The Wei couple didn't knew that this will be their last night hunt. They both were fighting with the water ghosts .

Wei ying was scared but he didn't showed it on his face . He also helped his parents in fighting the water ghosts . They were done trapping the ghosts and were about to leave but they couldn't as Demons blocked their way .

The Wei Couple at first talked with the Wen demons to let them go but when the demons didn't listened to them , the Wei couple started fighting with them.

The Wei couple thought "If they are good demons they'll let them go". But those demons were bad . Looks like ...They were here for the purpose of hunting humans.

The Wei couple was fighting with the demons . Wei ying was shivering in fear . Saren noticed Wei ying . She told Changze to 'continue fighting' and herself went to hide Wei ying .

Saren hid Wei ying in bushes and told him to 'stay here and not come out'. Wei ying wanted to go but Saren forbade him to do so.

Saren kissed on Wei ying's forehead lovingly and then left from there to help her husband in fighting the demons .

Wei ying was quiet. He wasn't moving at all to not make any noise .

After sometime , everything went quiet. Wei ying peeked out of the bushes and got shocked to see his parents dead bodies on the ground . The Wen Demons have already left . Tears started falling from his (Wei ying's) eyes.
