HOLLYWOOD | RECORDING STUDIO
Jocelyn stood in the recording booth, adjusting her headphones and taking a deep breath. The track for "Something About the Sunshine" was playing in her ears, an upbeat, catchy song meant for a new summer blockbuster. Adam gave her a thumbs-up from behind the glass. They were running on a tight deadline, and this song needed to be perfect.

She started singing. "there's something about the sunshine baby.." but doubt clouded her mind. The lyrics felt hollow, and the cheerful melody seemed forced. After a few takes, she pulled off her headphones, frustration evident on her face.

Adam's voice crackled through the intercom. "You okay, Jocelyn? Wanna take a break?"

She nodded, stepping out of the booth. "I don't know, Adam. This song just doesn't feel right. I'm not sure it's good enough."

Adam handed her a bottle of water. "You're always your hardest critic. It sounds great. Trust me."

Jocelyn sighed, taking a sip. "I hope you're right."

Adam leaned back in his chair, a thoughtful look on his face. "You know, I've been thinking about proposing to Ryan."

Jocelyn's eyes widened, a genuine smile spreading across her face. "Really? Adam, that's amazing! You better do it. You two are perfect for each other."

Adam chuckled. "Yeah, I think it's time. He's been dropping hints, and I've been planning how to make it special."

Jocelyn's smile grew. "What do you have in mind?"

Adam's eyes lit up. "I'm thinking of doing it at the place where we had our first date. It's this little Italian restaurant downtown. I'll have them play our song, and then I'll get down on one knee. Classic but romantic, you know?"

Jocelyn sighed dreamily. "That sounds perfect. Ryan's going to love it. Have you thought about the wedding yet?"

Adam nodded. "We've talked about it a bit. We want something small, intimate. Maybe in a garden or on a beach. Just close friends and family. We're both not into big, flashy events."

Jocelyn grinned. "That sounds beautiful. I can already see it. You and Ryan standing under a floral arch, exchanging vows. It'll be magical."

Adam laughed. "Yeah, I think so too. And of course, you'll be there. Maybe even sing at the wedding?"

Jocelyn's eyes sparkled. "I'd be honored. Just say the word, and I'm there. I refuse to sing any Lady Gaga though."

Adam laughed softly and smiled warmly. "Thanks, Jocelyn. That means a lot. But what about you? Think Connor's going to pop the question anytime soon? You've been together forever."

Jocelyn's smile faded. "I don't know, but I hope not. Besides, I think he likes holding that over my head."

"All I know is, his evil, homophobic ass is not invited to my wedding. He'll probably burn the place down and condemn me to hell." Adam said, half joking, half serious.
