Jocelyn stepped out of the car and into the bustling streets of New York City. The noise, the lights, the energy—it was all overwhelming yet familiar. As she made her way to the Plaza Hotel with Connor by her side, she couldn't shake the feeling that eyes were on them, even more than usual.

Their suite was impressive. Large windows offered a view of Central Park, and the living area was cozy with comfortable sofas and a marble coffee table. Fresh flowers added a touch of color. The bedroom had a king-sized bed with crisp white linens and a soft silver throw. A walk-in closet and a spacious bathroom with a soaking tub and rainfall shower completed the picture.

Jocelyn tossed her suitcase onto the bed and sighed. The city never slept, and neither would she, it seemed. Her phone buzzed with a flood of notifications, and she glanced at the screen to see messages from Julia, her manager, and a text from Connor's mother.

Before she could respond, there was a knock at the door. She opened it to find Julia standing there, looking more frazzled than ever.

"Jocelyn, we have a problem," Julia said, stepping inside and closing the door behind her. "The press is having a field day with the photos of you and Paige. They're spinning all sorts of stories, and it's getting out of hand."
