HOLLYWOOD
Jocelyn was immersed in her dance rehearsal, her movements fluid and synchronized with the music as her dancers followed along. The studio was alive with energy, each dancer focused on perfecting their routine for the upcoming black-tie charity gala. The music pounded through the speakers, adding a rhythmic backdrop to their practice.Jocelyn paused and turned around to her dancers. "You guys look fucking amazing, let's just run it one last time and then we can all go home. Sound good?"
All her dancers clapped, relieved to end the 6 hour long practice. And with that Jocelyn motioned to the guy running the music to click play.
Without warning, the door burst open, and Julia stormed in, her heels clacking aggressively on the floor. The sudden intrusion made everyone freeze.
"Everyone, take five!" Julia barked, her voice slicing through the music. The dancers stopped abruptly, exchanging anxious glances. Julia's eyes swept over them, her expression stern and unforgiving.
She marched directly to Jocelyn, her frustration barely contained. Without a word, Julia threw a paparazzi picture of Jocelyn and Paige onto the floor at Jocelyn's feet. The image was unmistakable: Jocelyn and Paige laughing together outside a nightclub.
"This!" Julia's voice was sharp, her frustration palpable.
"This is a disaster! I went to your house earlier, and Connor told me you haven't been home for days. Now this photo surfaces, making it look like you're up to something with Paige. We're supposed to be maintaining your image with Connor. This is a mess!"
Jocelyn's face turned red with embarrassment. She could feel the tension among her dancers, their fear of Julia's wrath evident. They shifted uncomfortably, casting worried glances at each other.
"Julia, I didn't plan for this," Jocelyn said, trying to steady her voice despite her anxiety. "Paige is just a friend. I didn't intend for this to become a scandal."
Julia's eyes narrowed. "It's not just about intentions. This is what happens when you don't think ahead. The charity event is coming up, and it's crucial for your public image. We need to fix this, and we need to do it fast."
Jocelyn's frustration bubbled over. "I understand the event's importance, but this is more than just a PR issue. I admitted to Connor that I knew about his cheating. I didn't just disappear for no reason."
Julia's expression softened slightly, but her tone remained stern. "Yes, and I am sure that sucks. But do you think Beyoncé laid down and died when Jay-Z cheated? No!"
She pulled out her phone. "We need to focus on the immediate issue. You and Connor need to be seen together. That's my priority right now. And it better be yours too."
Jocelyn nodded, feeling a mix of anger and resignation. "Alright, I'll handle it."
