"seungmin, may i talk to you for a sec? alone?" jungsu smiled as he approached the boy, who was putting his things in his locker, while talking to gunil.

turning around, he was surprised to see jungsu talking to him. "oh- yeah- sure-" being pulled away by the elder was not something he expected.

jungsu took seungmin to an empty classroom, so they could talk in peace. "does gunil still like jiseok?" he asked, more demanding than he intended to.

seungmin seemed intimidated. "uh- don't know? he stopped talking about jiseok so much, that's for sure. and he-"

jungsu just shook his head with a "tssk" as he took a step closer towards seungmin. "is he still the same when he's around jiseok?"

it took the younger a few seconds before, taking all the brain power he had left to think of their interactions.

jungsu was so pretty, his makeup wasn't as heavy today, apparently he was too lazy this morning. gothic makeup takes up a lot of time after all.

at the end, seungmin shook his head. "he doesn't seem as interested anymore.." jungsu cursed, taking a step back as he scratched his temple.

"okay, thanks for the information. i've- i've started to worry about jiseok a lot, he's so distant nowadays and- and he changes himself so gunil will like him."

seungmin was speechless after hearing all that. "well shit..."

[...]

gunil waited for seungmin by his locker, not having expected jiseok to approach him. "hi, gunil!" the younger smiled, adjusting his bag.

the younger looked adorable with the tiny bow clip in his hair and the baby tee that spelled lovely on the chest.

wearing low rise jeans, the seam of his boxers was visible, but most importantly. "you have a new tattoo" gunil remarked.

jiseok just laughed. "it's a stick 'n poke. made it myself yesterday." it was his second one. the other one was on his inner thigh, spelling getting freaky. jiseok most definitely was not in a sober state while he got it done.

the second one seemed to have a deeper meaning though. it was a butterfly, yet instead of a normal body it was a semicolon.

gunil knew about the meaning. and this concerned him. "jiseok, are you alright?" he asked, in shock, and jiseok just laughed.

"the semicolon stands for the memory of my brother. he killed himself. and the butterfly- well-"

jiseok interrupted himself to giggle. "i haven't eaten for a full week already so i can be better for you."

this punched the air out of gunil's lungs. "you- what?!" "i love you, gunil" jiseok confessed without any hint of shame.

"i'll love you forever, gunil. and i want to be yours. but i know i can't be yours if i stay the way i am. you'll like the new me, i promise!"

gunil was confused and overwhelmed, his brows furrowing. "jiseok, but- but you shouldn't starve for-"

he couldn't finish the sentence, the boy in front of him fainting out of a sudden. people looked at them weirdly, some even laughed at jiseok.

lifting him up, gunil's heart shattered as he realised how light jiseok was. did he seriously starve just for him?

walking towards the nurse's room, gunil walked past jungsu and seungmin, who just walked out of a classroom.

"what the fuck happened to jiseok?!" jungsu almost shouted as he instantly started walking after gunil, looking at his unconscious friend.

gunil shrugged. "he just passed out!" the boy exclaimed, a little overwhelmed. "he didn't eat for a whole week already.. is he always starving himself on purpose?"

jungsu furrowed his brows. that was so not jiseok like. jiseok loved food, always trying out new things and recommending them to jungsu.

"no, that can't be true-" gunil didn't even wait for him to finish talking. "he said he has done that so i'll like him more..."

jungsu was so confused. jiseok promised him  that he wont do anything. why? starving can very obviously kill him.

arriving at the nurse's room, the bell rang, indicating that the next lesson began, so gunil put him down on the bed, while jungsu decided to stay and skip the lesson.

he needed to talk to jiseok as soon as he woke up.
