"so you talked to jiseok?" seungmin asked the moment gunil called him.
the latter was sitting on the bus home, his hands shaky as he let out a sigh. "yeah.." "aaaand?"
gunil wished he wouldn't have to think about it. but he had to tell his best friend at least, right?
"we came to the conclusion to stay friends.." seungmin started to make surprised noises, probably already close to shouting at him.
but gunil continued talking. "well, at least it was my suggestion.." he just knew that seungmin would flip out.
and he did. "what the fuck do you mean it was your suggestion?" he yelled through the speaker, gunil had to slightly remove the phone from his ear due to the volume.
"dude, this was your chance to ask him out, to restart whatever start this was! gunil, bro, who the fuck shat in your head?"
gunil just groaned. "i don't know, what if he doesn't like me that way? i'd be standin' there like a damn clown!"
seungmin was so annoyed, and he didn't even try to hide it. "brother, even the blindest person on earth can see that that bitch liked you back!
quit acting like a goddamn child-" gunil stopped listening after that, having noticed someone he knew entering the bus.
"jungsu is here, wait." hanging up, jungsu noticed him a few moments later.
he sat down next to gunil with a small smile. "and? how was it?"
of course he talked about the conversation with jiseok. the goth knew that gunil had visited his friend.
not again. gunil rolled his eyes, sitting up again and shimmying into a more comfortable position.
this will be fun to explain everything again.

monday was a weird day for everyone. not only because of the tension between gunil and jiseok, but also because of an important project.
the school's billboard had a whole list of groups on it. whole junior year had to work on a creative project.
many students were gathered around it, trying to find their name on the list. jooyeon, jiseok, hyeongjun and seungmin were a part of it.
it was weird for seungmin and jiseok to be seen without their friends. but they were seniors after all, and a teacher has already shouted at them to go away.
"han hyeongjun.." jiseok mumbled to himself once he found his group. he felt like he has heard the name somewhere.
right, wasn't that the boy whose drink was spiked? what did he look like again?
in his peripheral vision jiseok saw gunil's friend talk to jooyeon, his old crush. what a crazy mix.
jiseok got startled by someone talking to him. "you're jiseok, right?" damn, the boy was tall.
the latter nodded, having to slightly look up to meet the student's eyes. oh, right, that was hyeongjun.
"yeah, i am."
there was an awkward silence at first, not knowing what to say. until they clicked.
they started bonding over music, talking about their favorite bands and how both of them use it as an escape.
while jiseok's favorite was green day, hyeongjun adored radiohead, giving each other some song recommendations.
then they thought of a fitting task for their project.
"we should write a radiohead and green day inspired song!" that was their final idea.
it didn't move as smoothly for seungmin and jooyeon. they couldn't find a single shared interest.
seungmin was into photography, having bought a high-end camera just to follow his passion, but jooyeon was more of a writer.
it was jooyeon who suddenly thought of something.
"i can write a short story and you take some pictures that fit to the vibe?"
they had a month to prepare their projects, would this be enough for jooyeon?
but seungmin agreed, better than having nothing. and as long as he got to take pictures, he was okay with it.
