it wasn't looking as well for jooyeon and hyeongjun.

having sneaked into the elder's house through his windows, he helped hyeongjun pack his things.

hyeongjun told him that he was moving, but he didn't know where. and hyeongjun had no idea how to tell jooyeon that he is leaving the country.

"it's so ass that you have to go with your mom" the younger sighed, folding the clothes, while hyeongjun put them inside the suitcase.

the latter just groaned. "tell me about it! what am i supposed to do without you?" he walked towards jooyeon, putting his arms around the boy. "we won't even go to the same school anymore... how am i supposed to survive the last one and a half years?"

jooyeon sighed. "it's not as bad, i hope.." he tried to encourage hyeongjun. "we can still visit each other weekly. i'd really need it..."

hyeongjun stayed quiet. only if it was that easy...

jooyeon seemed to get the message. "where are you moving..?" he asked cautiously. "don't tell me you're going back to indonesia.."

it stayed quiet between them two. hyeongjun was starting to shake, looking down on the pile of clothes they stuffed in the suitcase.

the silence gave it away. he was moving countries.

"i'm sorry i didn't tell you before" hyeongjun stuttered, scared of what the answer might be.

jooyeon was visibly upset, yet it wasn't as visible whether he was rather angry or sad.

he didn't speak, just looking at hyeongjun as if he still needed some time to process the said thing.

and it made hyeongjun panic. "joo, really, i was too scared to tell you!" the elder exclaimed, grabbing his hand and shaking it.

"say something!" the reaction surprised jooyeon. he was baffled hyeongjun didn't tell him something that important before.

but he shouldn't act like it was the end of the world. "hyeongjun, breathe.." jooyeon mumbled, picking up the rapid rise of his chest.

it was hard for hyeongjun to do what he was told, needing a few tries until he was able to regulate his breath.

he wiped his glassy eyes. "sorry... i'm so used to being screamed at whenever i procrastinate to say something.."

hyeongjun was breathing deeply, his hands shaking as he held onto jooyeon's, looking down on the floor.

jooyeon didn't know what to do so he just hugged the elder. "so this is goodbye then?" it was. hyeongjun's flight was in two days.

and sadly they couldn't see each other over the weekend because hyeongjun was staying over at his grandparents', visiting them one last time before moving away.

nodding, hyeongjun looked at jooyeon again, in hopes of reading some emotions off of his face.

yet instead, they both instinctively leaned closer, aiming for a kiss, that turned messier than both of them expected.

they've never kissed with that passion and ferocity before, their lips smacking audibly, as inexperienced hands roamed each other's bodies.

next thing hyeongjun registered was him falling backwards on the bed, jooyeon climbing on top of him not even seconds later, focused on returning to the exact same kiss again.

hyeongjun's icy hands laid on jooyeon's burning skin underneath the pullover he was wearing, undressing it as soon as they pulled away to gasp for air.

the same happened to him pretty quickly, just barely registering how jooyeon threw his hoodie on the floor.

skin on skin, the younger leaned down to suck and nip on hyeongjun's neck, making him breathe out loudly, a pant leaving his lips and his hands finding a way into jooyeon's hair.

it is needless to say that the few hickeys jooyeon left on hyeongjun's neck weren't the only things that happened that evening.

naked bodies lying next to each other, they were breathing heavily, just looking at each other with tired smiles.

"at least they'll know that you have someone waiting here" jooyeon chuckled, his fingers grazing the purple-red marks on hyeongjun's neck.

the elder laughed. "it's not like i wanted someone else to come closer that way anyway."

and they shared another kiss.
