the moment jiseok heard some ringing on his door, he didn't think of it as something bad. yet when he opened it, his heart dropped. it was gunil.

"how do you know where i-" "i asked jungsu" he interrupted him with an awkward smile. "um- we need to talk, may i come inside?"

jiseok was baffled, not knowing what to answer as he just stepped back and let the boy inside.

the elder took some time to stare at the hickeys he left, clearly embarrassed about it. "so- um- i've been told that you think that we two fucked..."

the younger just scoffed, crossing his arms before nodding. "i wouldn't know how to explain any of this otherwise."

this made gunil chuckle, scratching the back of his head. "well, then you'd be surprised to tell you that we did not fuck... it's weird that i have to specify this but-"

jiseok interrupted him with a surprised "huh". furrowing his brows, he took a step closer. "wait, lets go to my room, then you can explain."

basically dragging gunil to his room, jiseok was desperate to get some answers. it can't be...

once the door closed, gunil continued. "well, i assume you can't remember shit about that evening?"

receiving a nod, gunil sighed. "it'd be a wonder if you did" he mumbled, more to himself before he looked back to jiseok again.

"okay, we were initially planning on having sex but, well, we didn't. but you gave me head and... god, that's so embarrassing to say this out loud."

jiseok looked confused. okay, so they didn't fuck, but what else? okay, he blowed him but that can't be it, can it?

"you passed out."

the younger almost choked on his spit, looking at gunil with widened eyes, a surprised laugh pushing out.  "excuse me, i did what?"

gunil just awkwardly scratched the back of his neck while jiseok started a monologue about how embarrassed he was.

"but... you're not disgusted by me now... right?" he then asked carefully, afraid that gunil might never want to see him.

yet the elder sighed. "no... but i still believe that we should keep this secret and maybe- uh- just stay friends... i hope that evening didn't have any big significance to you.."

jiseok felt his heart rip in a million pieces. he should have known it - he had no value to gunil.

nodding while trying to fight against the tears, he patted gunil's shoulder. "that's fine with me, man" he chuckled.

"wouldn't want it any other way... yeah.."

jooyeon quickly hid the blade underneath his pillow as he heard his mother walk up the stairs.

pulling down his sleeve just in time before the door opened, he offered the woman a nice smile.

she seemed to be happy, as well. "hyeongjun is here" the woman informed him, the shy boy appearing next to her.

shit. jooyeon sat down on his pillow, smiling at the boy who entered the room and closed the door.

"what brings you here?" jooyeon asked as hyeongjun leaned in for a short hug before sitting down on the bed, too.

the elder sighed. "parents are arguing again.." he just mumbled, sensing how stiff jooyeon was.

taking a look at him, he quickly noticed something. "your arm is bleeding." jooyeon froze.

looking at his arm, he didn't know how to react. "uh-" next thing jooyeon knew was hyeongjun sitting right next to him, their legs touching.

normally, jooyeon's heart would go crazy at that touch, but now he was busy with trying not to cry.

giving hyeongjun the silent permission to roll up the sleeve, he saw the tears that started to collect in the elder's eyes.

since that moment, hyeongjun didn't say anything the next minutes. he just quietly stood up and walked towards the bathroom, returning with moist napkins and a piece of cloth.

wiping away the blood on the arm, a stray tear rolled down his cheek. jooyeon stayed silent either, as if this moment wasn't real.

he felt hyeongjun's gaze burn on the cuts, not knowing if it soothed the pain or made it even worse.

wrapping the cloth around the younger's arm, hyeongjun squeezed it, gently applying pressure.

they still didn't talk, jooyeon looking away, out of the window of the room. the sun was setting, throwing a fresh shade of yellow snd orange hues into his room.

the light hit hyeongjun's eyes, enhancing the comforting brown into the prettiest shade jooyeon has ever seen.

they never talked about this event again.
