Of all moments, Drac called me now.

His voice was soothing to my heart, his deep voice sounded concerned, "N/A, are you okay?"

I tried to laugh, only start coughing. The count was worried, "N/A! What is wrong?"

Breathing steady, I leaned against a tree, "...Drac...can you pick me up please?"

"What about Norris?"

Hearing my father's name was like a knife in my heart, "...he...won't mind."

"Are you sure?"

My silence made the count uncomfortable, as he heard my weak voice, "...please...please Drac." He told me to wait at the hotel, until I had a better idea. I gave the end of the woods as the destination to meet up. I would have no strength to explain to him what happened. Without questioning the idea, he told me to get there quick, he will be on his way right away. The call ended, but the sound of his voice was still ringing in my mind, giving me the feeling of hope. Did my father mean him? He said that there is someone out there. If it was Laurence, he would have just said his name. Even so, the nasty feeling of being alone has disappeared. What was left was the sense of belonging somewhere, to my other family. Anastasia, Franky, Drac's friends, Vlad, Mavis, Jonny and the count...they are also my family. I could have hit myself for this, how could I forget them? "Dad...don't worry about me...I know where I belong..."

"On my wall...monster"

Drac flew as fast as he could. The sound of voice worries the count, taking the shortest route to be there. Not only half an hour, he had to rest. He got a call from Jonny, "Not now Jonny!"

"Drac where are you?"

"I am on my way to N/A, why?"

Suddenly, the voice was that of a woman. Erika took over the boy's phone, "We received another call Drac. It is true, Rita's boyfriend is a hunter. Normally he only takes down animals, but she persuaded him to take on monsters. The vampires and the girl might be in big trouble, he won't rest until he got all of them. Be careful." The call was cancelled. Drac jumped off the branch and back into a bat. Every second counts now, he had to hurry.

I already got my first bullet in the arm.

The guy meant business, not believing me to be a human being. All the blood of my father's body didn't make me trustworthy. He wanted a trophy for the hunt, but the right way. If it wasn't for me screaming around, he wouldn't have noticed me. Coming from behind to kill me was in his eyes boring, needing the thrill of the hunt, the adrenaline kick. Pushing me into the mud, he loaded his rifle, "I give you a two minute head start and I suggest you use it wisely." I had to make a runner, hoping to get to the destination where Drac is before he gets me. If I take the road, it would only made it easier for him to aim at me at the distance. My only chance is to make it harder for him, for this I had to change my color of clothing. The mud wasn't such a bad idea, getting more and more, covering me completely from head to toe. Removing my shoes I could decrease the sound of my movements. Ripping more off my dress off not to get stuck in branches. I had to stop myself from crying, this was not the time to feel sorry for me. My father shouldn't have died for nothing, I need to survive this...I owe him that much.

"Ready or not, here I come!"

Drac could hear gun shots in the distance, fearing the worst, "N/A!" Using all his strength, his speed increased. It was still too far away and not enough time to get there. All he could do it to hope I will arrive at the destination in one piece.

Rita's boyfriend was a good hunter to say the least. He could tell where I was going and was quick on his feet. His knowledge as a hunter gave him an advantage, while I only knew a few areas of the woods from my childhood. Norris never allowed me to get out in the dark to play, at least not alone and not too far away from the hotel. A few minutes of dreaming and a bullet almost got my head. Not looking where I step, it scratched my cheek as I feel down a small hill. A large tree that felt over caused this hole, giving me a few minutes of safety. Out of sight from the hunter's eyes, I used another path, under the tree. Crawling underneath it and the others that are lying around, he won't find me this quick. Thankfully the wind helped out and another veil of mist. Leaves distracted his hearing, and his eyes were blocked by a thick white soup. Now I need to take all my senses together and head on blind, always further away from the gun shots. An advantage from someone who is very impatient, aimlessly shooting around out of frustration, he couldn't make it any better for me. I was slower than expected, but managed to get closer to my destination.

Drac was already there, looking around anxiously, "Where are you N/A?" He didn't want to leave or go to the hotel. Not even waiting for five minute, quickly, he got out his phone, "Please be on your way." He didn't have it against his ear, and still...he could hear it, but not the device.

Drac heard my ringtone in the woods...followed by a gunshot.
