Ever had a feeling that your feet get heavier, as if your body had gained some extra weight and you can't move, you can't breathe and you can't see properly.
That was exactly what was going on with Taehyung.
His feet felt like there were weights attached to them. He couldn't move back, neither could he move forward.
His eyes were wide open yet he couldn't seem to focus on anything in particular.
And his chest moved rapidly as if he had been running for days now.
Only one word was constantly repeating in his mind.
Blood.
There was blood.
It was someone's blood.
And for the first time, he didn't want to believe his intuition, which was screaming at him, saying that it was Jungkook's blood.
That he was bleeding, that he was in pain and that someone hurt him.
And he couldn't do anything about it.
That was his breaking point.
As soon as he had seen that, everyone around him had disappeared as if they never existed.
Only one person's existence mattered to him, the one person who had disappeared as well.
He doesn't remember who was around him helping him look for his prince, he doesn't even know where he had already checked. He just kept going.
One thing was sure, it was Mark.
But there was someone else too.
And another doubt was soon going to be cleared. Another person he never wanted to ever believe was responsible.
Because there was no one else who could've been a part of this conspiracy and left unsuspected.
He walked over slowly and into the ground floor kitchen, where the tunnel had ended in the first place from one of the cupboards.
He looked around and slowly with all the energy he could muster up he started opening all the cupboards and looking inside.
He didn't even remember whether he had checked here before or not.
