Chapter 16

"Hey hey, listen to me, he's gonna be fine." Yoongi tried to soothe his husband who was sitting on their bed and crying horribly, tissues thrown all around him.

Yoongi had just returned from training in the morning when he found his husband in that state. So the first thing he did was prepare his husband's favourite hot chocolate for him.

He kept the hot chocolate on the bed beside him and then pulled the little mochi into his arms.

Jimin cried even louder after that, he stuffed his face in Yoongi's chest, who was still sweaty from training but none of them cared.

"He was in so much pain." Jimin cried out coughing out right after because of how long he had been crying. Yoongi bit his lips and rubbed his back hurriedly, worried for his husband.

"I can't see him like this." Jimin cried loudly for his best friend, the prince.

"I know, shh, he'll be fine now. Jung Hoseok is a great doctor, baby. You will see, the prince will be as good as new in a span of a few days." Yoongi said trying to calm his husband.

He pecked his forehead and then wiped his tears away before bringing the hot chocolate to his lips, helping him take a sip and soothe his sore throat from crying and coughing so much.

Jimin pulled back and looked at him with swollen eyes and sniffed before pulling out his pinkie finger,
"Promise?"

Yoongi smiled and wrapped his big pinkie with Jimin's tiny one,
"I promise."

Jin looked up at Namjoon as he walked while carrying him in his arms and walking very slowly in order to not hurt him.

He kept his head over Namjoon's chest trying to feel him close even if for just a few moments. He suppressed a groan of annoyance as he felt himself getting lowered to his own bed.

He just kept staring at his guard as he adjusted his pillows behind his back, helped him sit comfortably, and then even tucked him in the blanket fully. He helped Jin take his medicine and even made him drink water with his own hands.

Jin didn't say a word, too scared to ruin the serene atmosphere, too scared that Namjoon would push him away again, not hold him in his arms again, not care about him if he said anything.

He just let him do his job, just making himself believe it was not just a job and something more than that.

He looked at Namjoon's face when the man pulled back completely, they stared at each other for a few seconds before Namjoon just turned around and started walking towards the door.

Jin couldn't control the way his heart started beating rather fast just watching the man he loves walk away from him again.

He tried so hard but at last, the pained whisper managed to escape his lips,
"Won't you stay?"

Namjoon stopped in his tracks, he didn't turn around, he just stood there, his shoulders tensed and body rigid as a rock.

Finally, after an entire minute, he said,
"I will be right outside prince, please call me if you need anything." With that, he fastened his steps and walked right out of the door.

Leaving a heartbroken Jin all over again who could not help but whisper sadly with teary eyes in the empty room,

"But I need you."

Taehyung, Daniel and Yoongi walked to the prison wing and down the stairs where the traitors were left in the basement cell, this is where people usually go crazy.
