Author's POV -

The first light of dawn crept through the luxury hotel room's heavy curtains, casting a soft glow on the opulent furnishings. Inayara stirred awake, her mind already burdened with worry. Her eyes flicked to the clock on the bedside table-6:00 AM. She had woken up earlier than usual, driven by an unsettling feeling she couldn't shake off. Reyansh Khurrana Singhania, who had been skipping meals, was the source of her anxiety.

She felt a knot in her stomach as she lay there, restless and unable to shake off her concern for Reyansh. She didn't know why but she felt a different comfort around the three Singhania Brothers. The thought of him skipping meals gnawed at her, a persistent worry that wouldn't let her rest. Despite her own struggles, she couldn't ignore her growing anxiety about his well-being. With a sigh, she resolved to check on him, hoping her concern might make a difference.

She quietly slipped out of bed, careful not to disturb her roommate, and dressed in a simple yet elegant outfit. Her mind was filled with concern for Reyansh, and she resolved to check on him. As she stepped into the hallway, she noticed the hotel was still quiet, with only the occasional sound of distant footsteps.

As she walked through the deserted hotel corridors, Inayara's thoughts were a whirlwind of worry and uncertainty. The stillness of the early morning matched the calm she wished she could instill in herself. She hoped her presence might somehow ease Reyansh's distress, even if it was just by showing him that someone cared.

As she approached the dining area, the hum of early morning chatter and the clinking of cutlery greeted her. The room was a blend of luxury and warmth, with its polished wooden floors and elegantly set tables.

Reyansh was seated at a corner table, a plate of untouched food in front of him. His eyes were fixed on his phone, his expression distant.

Inayara's heart ached as she saw Reyansh sitting alone, his uneaten meal a stark indicator of his state. She felt a pang of sympathy and determination. Approaching him, she hoped her presence would be comforting, though she knew that her own nervousness might betray her good intentions.

"Sir ," she said softly, trying to sound casual despite her concern, "I noticed you've been skipping meals. Is everything okay? Maybe I can help."

Reyansh's eyes shot up, his gaze sharp and filled with a storm of emotions that Inayara couldn't fully decipher. "Inayara," he began, his voice edged with irritation, "I don't need your help. I'm perfectly fine. Just leave me alone."

Her heart sank at his immediate and harsh response. The sting of his words made her feel like an intruder rather than someone offering support. She fought to keep her voice steady, despite the pain bubbling up inside her. She wished she could reach through his emotional barricade and truly offer help.

"I'm just worried about you. If you need to talk or if there's something I can do-"

Reyansh cut her off, his frustration boiling over. "Can you not see that I'm trying to deal with things on my own? Your constant interference is not helping. I need space, and I need you to stay out of it."

The harshness of his words felt like a cold slap, leaving her stunned. She wanted to tell him that she understood his need for space, but the intensity of his reaction made her feel helpless. Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes, but she blinked them back, determined to keep her composure even as her heart ached.

Inayara flinched at the harshness of his words.
Her eyes welled up with unshed tears, but she fought to keep them at bay.
She was about to respond when Reyansh's phone buzzed. He glanced at it briefly, then dismissed it with an impatient swipe.
