Amelia 9yo
A/N: this is a request hope you like it 😊
Amelia Eilish, a bright and spirited nine-year-old, loved nothing more than the comforting presence of her pacifier and her favorite stuffed bunny, Floppy. As the daughter of the famous singer Billie Eilish, Amelia's life was often in the spotlight, but her world revolved around the small, familiar comforts that helped her navigate each day.
Amelia's school days were a mix of challenges and joys. She found it hard to make friends because of her autism, but she cherished the few friendships she had. One of her closest friends was Lucy, a kind-hearted girl who understood Amelia in a way few others did.
This particular day at school started like any other. Amelia sat in her favorite spot on the playground, Floppy cuddled in her arms and her pacifier in her mouth. She liked to watch the other kids play, sometimes joining in but mostly enjoying the sights and sounds from a safe distance.
Lucy approached her with a smile. "Hey, Amelia! Want to play on the swings?"
Amelia looked up and nodded, her pacifier bobbing slightly as she sucked on it. She took Lucy's hand, and they walked to the swings together. As they played, Amelia began to feel a strange sensation. Her head started to make small, jerky movements that she couldn't control. It was hurting her, and she didn't understand why.
Lucy noticed immediately. "Amelia, are you okay?" she asked, worry evident in her voice.
Amelia tried to answer, but the movements made it hard for her to speak. She clutched Floppy tighter, seeking comfort in its soft fur. Lucy, unsure of what to do, looked around for help but didn't want to leave Amelia alone.
After a few minutes, the movements stopped as suddenly as they had started. Amelia's head felt sore, but the pain was subsiding. She looked at Lucy with confusion in her eyes, not understanding what had just happened.
"It's okay, Amelia," Lucy said gently, sitting down next to her. "I'm here. Do you want to tell a teacher?"
Amelia shook her head slowly. She didn't want to talk about it; she just wanted to feel safe again. Lucy seemed to understand and offered her a comforting hug, which Amelia gratefully accepted.
The rest of the school day passed without incident, but the experience lingered in Amelia's mind. When her mother picked her up from school, Amelia was relieved to see her familiar face.
"How was your day, sweetie?" Billie asked, noticing the tired look in her daughter's eyes.
Amelia didn't have the words to explain what had happened, but she clung to her mother, finding solace in her embrace. Billie sensed that something had upset her and decided to take her home early.
Once they were home, Amelia curled up on the couch with Floppy and her pacifier. Billie sat beside her, gently stroking her hair. "You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to," she said softly. "Just know that I'm here, and I love you."
Amelia nodded, feeling a sense of peace wash over her. She didn't fully understand the day's events, but she knew she was safe with her mother and that was enough. As she drifted off to sleep, she felt the gentle rhythm of her mother's heartbeat, the steady presence that made everything alright.
The next morning, Amelia woke up feeling groggy and disoriented. Mornings were always difficult for her. The transition from the comfort of her bed to the hustle of preparing for school was overwhelming. Billie, knowing her daughter's needs well, approached the situation with patience and love.
"Good morning, Amelia," Billie said softly, sitting on the edge of her bed. "It's time to get ready for school."
Amelia clung to her pacifier and Floppy, not wanting to leave the warmth of her blankets. She mumbled something unintelligible around her pacifier, her eyes half-closed.
