Amelia 8 yo
Amelia's room was a cozy haven filled with soft pastel colors, plush toys, and shelves lined with picture books. The early morning sunlight filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow on her face as she slept soundly under her rainbow-patterned blanket. Zoe quietly opened the door and tiptoed into the room, her heart swelling with love at the sight of her daughter's peaceful expression.
"Good morning, sunshine," Zoe whispered, gently brushing a lock of hair from Amelia's forehead. Amelia stirred, her eyes fluttering open to meet Zoe's warm, loving gaze.
"Good morning, Mommy," Amelia mumbled, her voice still heavy with sleep. She stretched her arms out, reaching for Zoe, who scooped her up into a warm embrace. Amelia snuggled against Zoe's shoulder, reveling in the comfort and security of her mother's arms.
"How about some cuddles before we start the day?" Zoe suggested, planting a kiss on Amelia's cheek. Amelia nodded, her eyes lighting up with a sleepy smile. They settled back on Amelia's bed, wrapped in each other's warmth. Zoe hummed a soft tune, her fingers gently running through Amelia's hair, and for a few moments, the world outside ceased to exist.
After a while, Zoe asked, "Would you like to go see Mama and nurse a bit?"
Amelia's eyes brightened at the thought. "Yes, please!"
Zoe stood up, cradling Amelia close, and carried her down the hallway to the master bedroom. Billie was still in bed, propped up against a stack of pillows, scrolling through her phone. She looked up as Zoe and Amelia entered, her face breaking into a radiant smile.
"Good morning, my loves," Billie greeted them, setting her phone aside. Amelia wriggled with excitement, and Zoe carefully placed her on the bed next to Billie.
"Morning, Mama!" Amelia chirped, crawling into Billie's arms.
"Ready for some Bluey and cuddles?" Billie asked, kissing Amelia's forehead. Amelia nodded enthusiastically, and Billie grabbed the remote to turn on the TV. The familiar theme song of Bluey filled the room, and Amelia settled in to nurse, feeling utterly content.
Zoe climbed into bed beside them, wrapping an arm around Billie and resting her head on Billie's shoulder. The three of them lay there, enveloped in a cocoon of love and warmth, watching as Bluey and Bingo embarked on their latest adventure. Amelia nursed contentedly, her small hand resting on Billie's chest, while Billie and Zoe exchanged loving glances, savoring this precious family moment.
After about fifteen minutes, Amelia had finished nursing, and the episode of Bluey had come to an end. Zoe gently stroked Amelia's back, signaling it was time to get ready for school.
"Alright, sweetie, time to go downstairs and get you ready," Zoe said softly.
Amelia nodded, still basking in the afterglow of their morning cuddles. Billie helped her off the bed, and together, they all headed downstairs to start the day.
The kitchen was a bustling hub of activity as they prepared breakfast. Zoe set about making Amelia's favorite pancakes, while Billie sliced up some fresh fruit. Amelia sat at the kitchen island, her feet swinging happily as she watched her moms work together seamlessly.
As the sweet aroma of pancakes filled the air, Amelia couldn't help but feel incredibly lucky. Despite her moms' fame, they always made sure to create a nurturing, loving environment where she could grow up feeling cherished and secure. The normalcy of their morning routine was a testament to the deep bond they shared, one that was rooted in love, care, and an unwavering commitment to each other.
After a breakfast filled with laughter and conversation, Zoe carried Amelia back upstairs to get her dressed for school. Amelia's room was bathed in the soft morning light, her bed still a mess of blankets and stuffed animals. Zoe picked out a cute outfit for her: a bright yellow dress with little sunflowers and a pair of matching socks.
