Two In Love

The three of us: Me, Kelly, and Janey; were still in Fresno.

We were still sitting in the diner booth. Me closest to the window, Kelly next to me. Janey across from the both of us.

She smiled happily. "You too have a wedding to plan." She said, happy for the both of us again. Happy that Kelly and I found each other through all the bullshit once more.

Kelly nodded. "Anything you want babe, I'm cool with." He said with a small nod as he put his arm around me. I shrugged. "I dunno what I want. I've never planned a wedding before. Let alone my own, or ours." I told Kelly.

"We got this. I'll help you, I bet Janey and the guys would help us too." Kelly said, reassuring me as he kissed my cheek. I looked at Janey. "Oh, one hundred percent." She said, agreeing with Kelly.

We continued to talk a little bit more and then we decided we should probably get going back home.

Even though Janey didn't have her drivers license, I gave her my car keys anyway. I wanted to be with Kelly. He and I got on his bike and we started down the road, Janey following behind.

Eventually we all made it back to Janey and I's little neighborhood and pulled into my driveway.

My parents were at work. I told Janey she and I'd hangout later. She nodded and smiled, walking off in the direction of her house.

Kelly and I got off of his bike and we headed inside.

"Everything's back to the way it should be now." I said to him as I walked over to the dining room table and picked my acceptance letter from Hartford University and threw it into the trash.

"Not quite." Kelly said as he followed me into the kitchen. I turned around and looked at him briefly and then reached into the cabinet for a glass. "How so?"

He walked over to me as I filled the glass up with water from the sink. "He took my left and traced over the top of my ring finger with his pointer one. "You're ringless." He said softly. I looked at my hand and then into his eyes.

I put my water down, gently took my hand from his and unclasped the necklace that was on my neck and took it off, putting my ring back on my finger. Kelly smiled. "Now everything's the way it's supposed to be."

I nodded and decided to put the now charmless necklace around Kelly's neck and I clasped it.

"There ya go." I told him as I took a sip of my water. He smiled again and without hesitation picked me up in a hug.

I really had fucking missed him. But days of missing him were over. We made up, we weren't fucked without each other anymore. We were back to being two love sick kids, back to being two in love again.

He then put me down. "Wanna go hangout with the guys?" He questioned. I nodded and grabbed a piece of paper and a pen, leaving another note on the fridge for my parents.

Didn't end up going to Hartford, did reconcile with Kelly though. Will be home later :)

We then left.

"Oh my god there's Laurie!" Phil said excitedly as he got up. He was about to give me hug, but stopped himself. "Are you two back together?" He questioned Kelly and I as he squinted his eyes and looked between he and I.

I laughed at that. "Yes we are. And whether you weirdos like it or not we're recruiting you and Janey to help Kelly and I plan our wedding." I told them.

They all shrugged. "An L.A. Guns wedding, fuck yeah!" Tracii said as he raised his hands up. I laughed at that.

Kelly and I decided to get a head start on planning so we gathered up of course Kelly and myself, Mick, Steve, Phil, and Janey: heading back to my house to start and endure the possible hell that would wedding planning.

It was honestly crazy. Sitting in my parents house, around the dining room table was me and Janey- two newly highschool graduates as of a few weeks ago. Five rockstars and weird history that formed between the 7 of us in the span of only a few months and one ride home while drunk.

Life was insane.

Okay so after about an hour or so? We had some, some shit about this shindig figured out. Janey would be my bridesmaid, Tracii would be Kelly's best man and the rest of the guys would be his groomsmen.

And as for the guests? I told Kelly he could of course invite some of his friends and of course his parents. Janey and I decided we would invite some people from school who liked us and some who hated us just to fuck with them and let them know that my life is probably going in a better direction then there's right now.  Oh yeah. And family members from both sides were invited too

Then there was the fact we didn't know where to have it. "Jane, what the hell are we gunna do, we don't know where to have this." I told my best friend. She shrugged, also not knowing.

"What about you guys? You have a places we could have the wedding?" I questioned the guys. They all shook their heads. Great. We moved into something else, spewing ideas around the table, too deep in wedding planning highness, to now even hear the door open.

"Uhm. I heard someone say, it was my mom looking at the scene in front of me, my dad close behind. "Oh. Hey. We are wedding planning." I told them. "O-okay, but who are these people?" My mom and dad both asked at the same time.

"Oh, this is my band. My best friends." Kelly said with a smile. "Mom, this is Tracii, Mick, Phil, and Steve." I said as I introduced them to my parents.

She nodded, a smile spreading across her face. "Need any help?" She questioned as she set her purse down. I smiled in return, nodding. "Actually yes. We have no idea where to have it.

And then my mom gave us  a bunch of places to possibly have it and everything was falling into place again.

Because Kelly and I were engaged too soon, we were too young, too broke, and two in love on the best ways fucking possible.
