Holy shit dude.
Today was the fucking day.
No, like today IS THE fucking day.
Time is not a constant because what the fuck? We were outside, in front of a beautiful building with what seemed like thousands of stairs.
But before we get to the holy matrimony or all that crazy love defying shit, lets back it up a few beats, yeah?
It's been two weeks since Janey and I took that weird trip, two weeks since Kelly and I reconciled, and two weeks since we all pulled a shit ton of wedding plans out of our asses.
Three days after all the planning I went wedding dress shopping with my mom, Janey, her mom, and Kelly's mom.
And I totally was a goddamn cliche and cried when I found my dress. But fuck it.
So that's pretty much up to speed, leading to where we are now.
I was in the brides room, getting ready. "This is insane." Janey's mom stated. I nodded as Janey did my makeup. "Trust me Mrs. Corick, it's fucking bizarre." I told her honestly.
My mom could barely keep herself together. Every time she talked it came out in little sobs either something about 'my baby's getting married' or something like 'and then I'll be a grandma'.
Her saying that was wigging me the fuck out.
"Laur, you're literally so pretty." Janey said to me. I nodded and thanked her.
Eventually Janey and my mom helped me put my dress on and then my mom revealed something old and blue. "This is was great great gramma Eleanor's." My mom explained to me as she stood behind me and put a necklace onto my neck.
It had a small blue gemstone in the middle of it and several little diamonds around it.
I thanked her, of course that only lead her to more tears. Janey then smiled at me. "You still need something borrowed, Laurie Osbourne; but don't worry, that is why I am here." She stated. I laughed at that.
She held out her hand and opened it. I smiled when I saw what it was. "Is that what I think it is?" I said in a laugh. She nodded, laughing along with me.
It was a Black Sabbath pin, she and I both had one. We stole them from a shop downtown when we were 14 and 15. They only cost 25¢ each, but the logic of Janey and I was that we weren't cool unless we shoplifted.
And because they were stolen, it made total sense why Janey would loan me hers on my wedding day for my something borrowed.
She and I then spent a good five minutes trying to figure out where to put it so it wouldn't look fucking ridiculous. She pinned it to my bouquet.
I smiled at my mom, Mrs. Corick who was basically another mother to me, and Janey, my best friend, my sister; Ozzy and Sharron permit.

"Holy shit, I'm getting married." Kelly said to the guys after he adjusted his tie in the mirror and turned to look at them. "We're proud of you Kelly, mate. Now put on a very brave face and go marry my best friend!" Phil said enthusiastically.
Kelly laughed at that. Laurie and Phil really did become really good friends, like brother and sister from different mothers and misters.
Eventually the music started. "Here we fucking go boys." Kelly stated as he opened the door to the grooms room. He made sure the coast was clear before he started his walk down the hallway and down the aisle.

I eventually heard the music start. "Holy shit!" Mrs. Corick exclaimed out of no where, and rightfully so. She too watched me grow up and I guess hearing the song Kelly and I picked out to walk down the aisle too; really put this into perspective and made this one hundred percent real.
"Here we fucking go, girls." I said as we walked out of the brides room and down the hall, meeting my dad there. He smiled when he saw me. "You look like your mom." He said. I shrugged. "Most people say I look like you." He then laughed at that.
The groomsmen and bridesmaids made their ways down the aisle first and eventually my dad and I were up.
He held out his arm for me to lace mine through and I did. "Dad, for the love of god and you and moms weed, do not make me fucking trip or fall." I begged him. He laughed. "I won't, besides I like to take different kinds trips." He stated.
That was funny. A weed joke from my dad was apparently what I needed to calm down. I smiled and eventually before I knew it my dad and I were walking down the aisle.
And I shit you people not, when I saw Kelly standing there in his tuxedo and his hair and him just being Kelly Nickels. I about cried then and there, about let go of my dad and booked it to the front of the aisle where he stood.
But I didn't. I stayed put until my dad and I eventually walked down the aisle.
When I reached Kelly, he was smiling at me, I returned the smile.
I looked out into the rows of chairs and saw people from school, they had wide eyes that this was who I was marrying. In my mind, I had won the lottery.
"We are gathered here to do in the ceremony of making two families one." The officiant started. He said some more stuff and then he got down to the vows.
"Do you, Kelly Nickels take Laurie to be your lawfully wedded wife, to live together, in matrimony, to love her, to honor her, to comfort her, and to keep her in sickness and in health, for forsaking all others, until death death do you part?" He asked Kelly.
Kelly smiled and stared at me. "I do." I was about to yell I do before the vows on my part, but held back. Tracii the. Held out the rings, Kelly taking mine and putting it on my finger.
"Do you, Laurie Samston take Kelly to be your lawfully wedded husband, to live together, in matrimony, to love him, to honor him, to comfort him, through sickness and in health, for forsaking others, until death do you part?" He finally asked me.
I smiled really big. "I do." I said as I took Kelly's ring from Tracii and put it on his finger. "You may kiss the bride." The officiant finally said.
Nor Kelly and I hesitated. When we were done we then walked down the aisle hand in hand happily.
We were married. And yeah I know it's the right thing, but that doesn't make it any less fucking crazy.
