                                                                                         Leonor

When we reached the lodge after lunch, I returned to my room angrily and slammed the door behind me, not caring if anyone heard me. I was furious. Gavi had the audacity to come on this trip and screw around with other women. With me around.

I kicked my shoes off, tossing them in the corner, and I flopped down on the bed in a crying mess. I was upset because I thought he had really liked me. I was upset because I thought this was going to work out.

It clearly wasn't going to if he was out kissing other girls.

I buried my face in the pillow, crying forcefully. My shoulders shook, and my whole body quivered.

     I really didn't think I cared this much. I guess I do.

"I hate you," I mumbled into the pillow, picturing him kissing that girl again. It made my blood boil.

Maybe I was overreacting; maybe I was just being an ignorant bitch.

Or maybe this was his plan all along. To gain my trust, then go and throw it all away.

My head was spinning too fast. I had no idea what was going on anymore.

I woke up to tons of text message from Chloe, Hannah and Elena asking me what had happened. I didn't tell any of them when I returned to lunch. I didn't want to ruin their girls day.

I didn't feel like answering any of them, either. I let my phone sit on the nightstand.

This entire trip felt like a waste.

First my injured ankle, and now Gavi.

     Could it get any worse?

I sighed, sitting up in bed and readjusting myself on the pillow. I strained my head to look out of the window. The sun was beginning to set; it was nearly dinner time. Some stray snowflakes drifted past the window.

I laid there, staring into the emptiness for a while before I heard a knock on the door. I paused, sitting up to face the door before I said, "Come in."

I immediately regretted my words. What if it was Gavi?

The door opened a crack, and I spotted Chloe on the other side. She eyed me up, taking in my red eyes and stuffy nose.

"What happened?" She asked, rushing over to me and pulling me into a tight hug. I leaned my cheek against her chest and started to cry. I began to wipe away the tears, embarrassed to be crying in my best friend's arms.

I sighed, taking a breath before I began.

I told Chloe the entire story, from start to finish. Her expression grew more grim by the second. By the end, we were both silent. She just stared at me, batting her eyelashes.

"I'm so sorry that happened to you, Leonor," she whispered, stroking my hair. I just sat there, thinking about him. About that dumb blonde girl he was with. He was probably still with her, right now.

"It sucks," I said, sniffling and sitting up. I looked her in the eyes for the first time.

"Tell me about it," she laughed, rolling her eyes. That gained a small, strained laugh from me as well.

"You should talk to him," she suggested, and I immediately frowned.

     "No way," I scoffed.

"Come on, it'll be good to know his side of the story," Chloe pleaded.

"What is there to know? He kissed her," I sighed. Chloe just shrugged.

We fell silent again. It was quite awkward.

I opened my mouth to speak, but I was interrupted by another knock on my door. A firm one.

Chloe and I both turned to face the door, not saying anything.

"Let me get it," she said, standing to her feet and making her way to the door. I heard it click open, and soft whispers began to drift back to me. I couldn't make out the voice on the other side of the door.

I leaned forward off of the bed to get a better look, wiping my eyes, but I still couldn't see the guest. Chloe was leaning against the door, blocking my view.

She stood there for what felt like an hour before she shut the door and retreated back to me. Her eyes had a glassy look that made me feel anxious.

"Leonor, someone is here to see you," she croaked out, taking my hand.

I just stared at her, waiting.

"Well, who is it?" I questioned, even though I already knew the answer.

"Gavi. He wants to talk to you."

Well guys they're gonna talk about what happened in the next chapter

Sorry this chapter is sooooooo short (shortest one I've written yet) because I'm going to visit my dad
