Vaidehi Sharma's POV:

I was lost in Aayansh's charms as he walked towards us.

I fixed my hair slightly, but he passed by me and shook hands with a businessman.

I felt irritated, but Mrs. Shekhawat put her hand on my shoulder and whispered, "It's fine, beta."

As Mrs. Shekhawat engaged with other relatives and business partners,

I headed towards the drinks section.
I took a glass of wine, and someone hugged me from behind.

Recognizing the perfume, I knew it was Aarohi.
I giggled, turned around, and hugged her tightly.

"How are you doing, Aaro..." I said, hugging her tightly,
but she slapped my arm and yelled,
"Kamini, you didn't even miss me!"

"I missed you so much, believe me, girl!" I replied with puppy eyes.

Aaro said, "Okay, okay, don't give me that damn look."

I responded dramatically, wiping away invisible tears, "You're my pasandida aurat, Aaro! Even before my pasandida mard! How can I not miss you?"

Aaro said, annoyed, "Haa haa, I can see that, you bitch leave that! But to be honest, you're looking very, very pretty."

I blushed, tucked my hair strands behind my ear, and smirked, "Thank you! But you're looking sexy in that dress."

Aarohi and I were chatting when Mrs. Shekhawat intervened, "Vaidehi beta, it's time for you to go on stage now."

"Yes, maa, but I'm nervous," I replied, feeling anxious.

Mrs. Shekhawat reassured me, "It's totally fine, beta." She held my hand and smiled. "I know it's a big announcement."

I introduced Aarohi, "Maa, this is my best friend, Aarohi!" while holding Aarohi's arm. I blushed as I added, "And Aaro, this is my to-be mother-in-law."

Mrs. Shekhawat gave Aarohi a warm side hug, and then I accompanied Mrs shekhawat to the stage.

I stood in front of the stage, seeing Mr. Shekhawat, Mrs. Shekhawat, and Aayansh already on stage. Mr. Shekhawat was giving a speech:

"Ladies and gentlemen, I hope you're all having a great time at the party. This year, our Sunshine Corporation has achieved many milestones, and this is a success party for all of you! Thank you for being part of our success. Today, we have a special person among us."

He continued, "Can we please welcome Vaidehi, our future daughter-in-law, to the stage?" The spotlight shone on me, and Mr. Shekhawat invited me to join them on stage. I walked onto the stage, feeling nervous.

I stood beside Aayansh, and Mr. Shekhawat spoke again, "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome our future daughter-in-law, Miss Vaidehi Sharma! Today, they are getting engaged." The room erupted in a flurry of camera clicks and videos as the paparazzi captured the moment. Everyone around us began to gossip and congratulate us.
