Aayansh shekhawat's POV:

"Miss Sharma, didn't you understand my words on our engagement day?" I said, my voice low and husky. "Well, let me remind you again." I leaned in, my lips grazing the skin near her eyes, and whispered, "Welcome to hell, fiancée."

I saw goosebumps rise on her skin, and I knew I had an effect on her. I released her arms, my gaze never leaving hers.

"I will not marry a mafia or a person who kills people," she declared, her voice trembling.

I chuckled, the sound cold and menacing. "But now you're already bound to me, Vaidehi. Look at your ring; do you know what it means? It symbolizes our union, a thread of life that ties us together.
We belong to each other."

My words dripped with venom, harsh and unyielding.

"But Aayansh, you never wanted to marry me," she protested. "Life has given you a chance, leave me and live your life happily!"

Her words ignited my fury, and I seized her arms, my grip tightening. "And let my mother die from shock? Allow my family to suffer by breaking this engagement? Never, Vaidehi, not even in my dreams."

I knew I was being harsh, but I had to protect her from Dadababu's wrath. And I couldn't let Vaidehi go, she'd brought a glimmer of hope into my life, a ray of sunlight after relentless thunderstorms and rains.

I didn't love her, not like I loved Shruti. But with Vaidehi, I shared a unique bond, a friendship forged in adversity. Our life together would be different, unconventional.

"Vaidehi, listen," I said, my tone cold and commanding.
I made her sit on the bed. I knelt down, held her hand, and said, ''Accept reality as soon as you can, because this isn't some delusional story! It's real life, and I don't have time for this argument about breaking off the engagement. It's never going to happen.''

"Vaidehi, if you try to show off your so cold smartness by trying to break this engagement, then your family will suffer the consequences."
