Vaidehi sharma's POV:

I stood in the corner, tears streaming down my face. The pain of Baba's critical condition weighed heavily on me.

Bua Ji's venomous words cut through my despair. "You're the reason for your father's condition, Vaidehi. If you hadn't been so stubborn, he wouldn't be in this state."

Her words pierced my heart like a dagger. I felt a stinging sensation, as if she had slapped me.

"Your father's health was already fragile, and you added to his stress with your reckless behavior," Bua Ji continued, her tone dripping with malice.

Mahi Di and Badi Ma exchanged uneasy glances, but no one intervened.

Rohan Bhaiya looked away, his expression indifferent.

I felt alone, defenseless against Bua Ji's cruelty.

Just as I thought I couldn't bear it anymore, a loud voice echoed through the room.

"Kisne rulaya Vaidehi ko?"  (Who made Vaidehi cry?)

Aayansh stood in the doorway, his eyes blazing with anger.
His gaze locked onto mine, and I saw a fierce protectiveness in his eyes.

Bua Ji took a step back, her expression faltering.

Aayansh's presence commanded attention, and the room fell silent.
He strode towards me, his long strides devouring the distance.

"Vaidehi, tum theek ho?"
(Are you okay, Vaidehi?) he asked, his voice softening as he reached me.
I nodded, still sniffling.

Aayansh's eyes never left mine as he addressed the room. "No one can hurt you okay?. I'm here!"

The room fell silent, with all eyes on Aayansh.

Bua Ji's face twisted in resentment, but she remained quiet.

Aayansh's arm wrapped around my shoulders, pulling me close.
In that moment, I felt safe.

Aayansh's arm tightened around me, his grip a reassuring shield against Bua Ji's venom.

"Come with me, Vaidehi." Aayansh's voice was firm.
Without waiting for a response, he guided me out of the room.

As we reached the entrance, Aayansh turned to face the family.

"This house is no longer right for Vaidehi. I'll never let her come back here until it's really important. She's my fiancée, and no can hurt what's mine!"

Bua Ji's face reddened. "Tum kis hak se..." (How dare you...)

Aayansh's gaze silenced her. "I'm Vaidehi's fiance and future husband too. And I have every right on her"

Mahi Di stepped forward, concern etched on her face. "Aayansh, bhai, take care of vaidehi"

Aayansh's expression remained resolute. "Mahi Di, Vaidehi is safe with me and I'll always take care of her"
