Vaidehi Sharma's POV:
I stood there, frozen, trying to process the whirlwind of emotions that had swept over me. The intensity of Aayansh's kiss still lingered on my lips, but it was the anguish in his eyes that haunted me. I touched my lips, I can still feels his lips on me.Why had he pushed me away? What was he hiding?
Determined to uncover the truth, I decided to confront him. I took a deep breath, steadied myself, and walked out of the bedroom.
The mansion seemed empty, the silence oppressive. I searched for Aayansh, but he was nowhere to be found.
Just as I was about to give up, I spotted Ranvijay, Aayansh's loyal aide, bodyguard standing outside the study.
"Where is he?" I asked, my voice firm.
Ranvijay's expression was guarded. "He's busy, ma'am. You shouldn't disturb him."I narrowed my eyes. "I need to speak with him. Now."
Ranvijay hesitated before nodding. "Very well, ma'am. But be warned, he's not in a good state."I steeled myself and entered the study.
Aayansh sat behind the desk, his eyes fixed on some papers. His face was etched with pain, his jaw clenched.
"What is it, Aayansh?" I asked softly.
He looked up, his gaze piercing. For a moment, I thought I saw a glimmer of vulnerability.
But it vanished, replaced by his usual cold demeanor.
"Nothing, Vaidehi. Just leave me alone." He slammed those papers on desk.
I refused to back down."No, Aayansh. I won't leave until you tell me what's going on."
His eyes flashed with anger, but I stood my ground.Suddenly, his phone rang, shattering the tension.
Aayansh's expression darkened as he answered. "Yes?"
His face twisted in rage.
"I'll take care of it," he growled, slamming the phone down. He turned to me, his eyes blazing. "Vaidehi, leave. Now."But I stood firm. "No, Aayansh. I won't leave until you tell me the truth." I said trying to convince him
But he looked at me with so much anger.
"Vaidehi get out of my side" this sounded like a warning and also he is not in good mood i shouldn't pissed him off that bad. So I get out of his study.Little did I know, the truth would change everything.
I got ready for the office in my room, unsure of what the day held. After finishing my preparations, I headed to the office.
Upon arrival, I asked my colleagues about Aayansh's whereabouts and was informed that he was already in the office.
His punctuality was impressive, considering the chaos that seemed to surround him.I settled into my cabin and immersed myself in work.
A knock at the door broke my concentration. "Come in," I invited.
