Aayansh Shekhawat's POV:
"12 baje ho gaye, abhi tak nahin aayi," I thought to myself, getting up from her bed and heading outside.
(Its 12 am, still she haven't came)
I noticed everyone's room was locked from the inside, it was normal since everyone was sleeping. I searched for Vaidehi in every area of the house but then remembered I hadn't checked the terrace. I made my way up.
As I opened the terrace gate, I found
Vaidehi sleeping on a small mattress."Yeh madam yahan so rahi hai, mujhe tension de kar," I chuckled to myself.
(After giving me tension madam is sleeping here)
I assumed the mattress was there because her family members often spent time on the terrace.
I sat beside her, gazing at her face illuminated by the moonlight. Her skin glowed radiantly. I noticed dried tear marks on her cheeks.
Not wanting to disturb her peaceful sleep, I lay down beside her, pulling her into my embrace. I closed my eyes, feeling a sense of calm.
As the night ended, my breathing synchronized with Vaidehi's. I felt a sense of peace, holding her close.
Vaidehi stirred, her hand instinctively reaching for mine's. Our fingers intertwined, a tender connection.
My eyes fluttered open, meeting Vaidehi's gaze. The sunlight cast an ethereal glow on her face.
"Sleep well?" I whispered, my voice barely audible.
Vaidehi nodded, her eyes locked on mine. "You didn't wake me up."
"I didn't want to disturb you," I replied, my thumb tracing gentle patterns on her hand.
Our eyes held a silent conversation, the world around them fading away.
Vaidehi's gaze drifted, her thoughts unfolding like a delicate flower.
"Aayansh?" she whispered, her voice barely audible.
"Yes?" I replied, my eyes attentive.
Vaidehi's voice trembled. "My mom...I miss her so much. I wish she was here."
My grip on her hand tightened. "I'm here for you, Vaidehi. Always."
Tears welled up in Vaidehi's eyes. "I don't know what happened to her. No one tells me anything."
My expression softened. "We'll find out together, okay?" I said. I don't know why she doesn't know but I'll find out.
Vaidehi's eyes locked onto my, searching for reassurance.
"We will vaidehi don't worry just wait until we go back Mumbai then I'll start searching about your mother's death." I said giving her squeeze in hand.
Mahi Di appeared with a warm smile, carrying a tray laden with breakfast goodies.
