Vaidehi Sharma's POV:
"Bua! Bua..." I came running towards my bua's room (Vaidehi's dad's sister).
My bua saw me, and I entered her room, locking the door from the inside.I ran to my bua and stood in front of her, shivering. I didn't know how to explain.
"What happened, Vaidehi? Why are you scared? What's wrong? Why do you have bruises on your neck and lips?" my aunt asked me.
Tears formed in my eyes again and fell as I looked down, feeling vulnerable."Bua, he... he..." I tried to explain, but got choked by my own tears.
"Who? What did he do?" My aunt put her hand on my shoulder. I gathered some courage.
"........He raped me." I told her the name.(I'm going to reveal the name of that guy who have raped vaidehi in upcoming chapters because I like to create suspense 🌚💅)
My bua's expression changed from concern to skepticism.
"Vaidehi, don't lie to me. He would never do such a thing. He's a good guy. I've known him since his childhood. You must have misunderstood him."
I shook my head, tears streaming down my face.
"No, Bua, I'm telling the truth. He... he did it."
But my aunt refused to believe me. "Vaidehi, you're just trying to get attention. You're always a dramatic child. This is just another one of your stories."
I felt a surge of anger and hurt. How could my own bua not believe me? "Bua, I'm not lying! He raped me! And you're not listening to me!"
My aunt's expression turned cold. "Vaidehi, if you are really raped, And even if something did happen, it's probably because you led him on.
You're always so talking with him, you wear those dress infront of him. You must have given him the wrong idea."I felt like I had been punched in the gut. My own bua was blaming me for what he had done.
I realized that I was completely alone in this. No one would believe me. No one would help me. I need you maa
I couldn't hold back my emotions anymore. "How can you be so heartless, Bua?!" I yelled, my voice shaking with anger and hurt.
"I come to you for help, and you blame me for what he did? You're supposed to be my family, my protector!"
My bua's expression turned stern, and she raised her hand, silencing me.
"Enough, Vaidehi! I won't listen to your dramatics. You need to learn to control your emotions and think about the consequences of your actions."
I felt a surge of anger, but my bua continued, her voice firm.
"And let me make one thing clear! you will not tell anyone about this. not your friends, no one. I will talk to your baba. Do you understand?"
