Vaidehi Sharma's POV:
I entered my cabin and thought, "What does he think of himself?" I kicked the wooden table hard, but only ended up hurting myself."Ahh, madarch..." (Motherfu...),
I muttered,
sitting down in my chair and holding my foot, rubbing it slightly. Then, I turned on my laptop and started to complete the other tasks I had.
I knew Aayansh wouldn't meet me at the office today because he had a busy schedule.
After sometime, I looked at my watch and saw that it was lunchtime, so I went out of the office to my favorite restaurant.
There, I saw Abhinav sitting at a corner table, and I went over to him, sitting down across from him.
"Hey Abhi! tu yaha?" (you're here?) I asked. He looked at me with a big smile and said, "I think I made the right decision by coming here."
I replied, "Yes, of course!" and continued, "Let's order something, I'm really hungry."He suggested, "What do you want to eat? Chili chicken and fried rice?" and let out a soft chuckle.
"Of course, that's my favorite food!" I said.He laughed and said, "You know, you never forget to order chili chicken whenever you come to this restaurant."
I smiled and said, "You know me too well, Abhi."We ordered our food and ate while chatting and laughing together.
Talking with Abhinav is like therapy.
He understands me.After finishing lunch, when I was leaving for my office, Abhinav called out,
"Ms. Overthinker!"
I looked back with a fake glare.
"Are you free this evening?" he asked, and I nodded, since I didn't have much work to do."Okay, then you, me, and Aarohi will meet at our favorite cafe," he said.
"That sounds great!" I replied, and then left.
As I walked back to the office, I couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over me.
Talking to Abhinav always had a way of clearing my head and making me feel better. And I had to admit, I was looking forward to meeting up with him and Aarohi later that evening. The rest of the day flew by in a blur of meetings and paperwork, but I managed to stay focused and get everything done that I needed to.
As the clock struck 5, I packed up my things and headed out of the office, feeling a sense of freedom wash over me.I made my way to the cafe, where Abhinav and Aarohi were already waiting for me.
We spent the next few hours laughing and chatting, enjoying each other's company.
It was the perfect way to unwind after a long day.
As the evening drew to a close, Abhinav and aarohi walked me out of the cafe and onto the street.
"Thanks for meeting up with us, Vaidehi," he said, smiling. "You needed it."
