Aayansh shekhawat's POV:

I woke up with a throbbing headache, its intensity almost unbearable.
As I became more aware of my surroundings, I realized I was embracing something soft.

Opening my eyes, I saw that it was Vaidehi, her gentle body wrapped around mine, her head resting on my chest. Her face was partially hidden by strands of hair.

The ray of sunlight peeking through the curtains disturbed her peaceful slumber, causing her nose to scrunch up. I smiled, gently brushing the hair away from her face.

My lips curled into a tender smile as I positioned my head to cast a shadow over her face, shielding her from the sunlight.

My fingers caressed her cheeks.
The way Vaidehi clung to me made me feel unexpectedly vulnerable. Suddenly, I felt like a creep for staring at her so intently.

Embarrassed, I sat up in bed, trying to shake off the feeling. My mind began racing: What happened last night? I got some flashbacks

Flashback starts:

"Don't go," I pleaded, holding Vaidehi's hand.

"Please," I added, my voice barely above a whisper.

Vaidehi's expression softened, and she helped me back into bed.

We lay down together, her initial hesitation fading.

At first, she maintained a gentle distance, but I couldn't resist pulling her closer.

I wrapped my arms around her waist, her back against my chest.

As we settled in, Vaidehi's tension eased, and she relaxed into my embrace.

Her subtle scent filled my senses, calming my racing thoughts.

I buried my face in her hair, inhaling deeply.

My eyelids grew heavy, and before I knew it, exhaustion claimed me and I fall asleep.

Flashback ends!

My heart began racing, and I felt embarrassed.
I didn't want to face Vaidehi at all.

I quickly got out of bed and carefully closed the curtains to block out the sunlight, ensuring it wouldn't disturb her.

Next, I headed to the washroom to get ready for the day. Even though it was a Sunday, I had some urgent work to attend to at the office.
