silence lingered between them. maybe she wasn't jo in the end. fuck.

"you are niall horans biggest fan? the number i've been texting for months?" ally spluttered out, shock overtaking her system.

"well, they say a musicians biggest fan is himself," the man joked on, especially after seeing her wide, doe eyed expression.

"no way! this is crazy what the fuck? how did you know i was me?" she questioned, her mind racing a mile a minute.

"honestly, it was when you texted me saying that i had just commented on your post. yours was the only one i had commented on in a while, so it had to be you," he explained, ordering another drink for both ally and himself.

"that's crazy, i literally had no idea. oh my god i was literally fan girling about niall horan to niall horan. fuck me."

a deep laughter escaped niall; "don't worry, jo it's okay," he explained.

"wait text me. i swear if it's not you i will kill you," ally threatened, only to calm down when she saw niall had send a picture of her looking all flustered, her her head resting on her shoulder, smile as big as ever at the bar.

"i'm making that your contact picture."

"that's not fair! i don't have one of you."

"pretty sure you could find one anywhere you wish, jo."

oh how good her name sounded coming out of his mouth.

it was intoxicating.

"thats not the same, let me take one of you," she argued back, eventually winning and taking a snap of niall, setting it as his contact photo.

soon, their conversation came to an end when some people were making speeches, causing them to return back to their seats.

one look from violet was all ally needed to tell that she knew niall was mystery man.

"the craziest shit just happened, vi," ally whispered in her best friends ear.

"i know," the brunette replied, "niall is mystery man."

"it's crazy."

"tell me about it."

later on in the evening, ally was at the bar once again, this time ordering niall a drink too since they had planned to meet up once again. suddenly she felt a presence behind her, thinking it was niall, she turned around, only to be met with a haunting face she wished would go away.

"hi fi," spoke tom, using the nickname she hadn't heard in so long, sending shivers down her spine. and not in a good way.

two words was all it took for all of the hurt to come rushing back to her. years of pain, torture, hurt; years of trauma she has repressed bubbling to the surface.

"hi tom," ally spoke, visibly distressed.

quickly, her hands started shaking causing her to have to put her drink down on the bar.
