the mere thought of stepping onto the set of her new movie was nerve wracking for ally; she loved acting, no doubt about that, but it was the thought of working with her ex boyfriend that made her anxiety spike.
she couldn't believe she was given this amazing opportunity of her own marvel movie but having tom there made her want to go home straight into niall's arms. she hadn't even gotten on the plane yet.
luckily she had penny to keep her company.

"hi ally," jane said as soon as she saw the blonde girl step onto the set. "i have sorted out your trailer, downey requested you get part of downey town, since it is your own movie, but the directors said no."
ally stood there, shock written on her face at the speed jane was talking at.
"where's niall?" the older woman continued before ally could register what she was saying, petting penny who was curled up in her arms.
before she could reply, a sickening, twisted voice came from behind her, using a nickname that had the ability to send shivers down her spine. "yeah, fi, where is this magical boyfriend of yours?"
turning around slowly, she came face to face with someone she wished wasn't here; tom stood there, a repulsive smile on his face with his arm wrapped around his new girlfriend.
"hi tom, zendaya," she spoke professionally, avoiding his calculating gaze as much as possible.
quickly, she turned back around to jane silently begging her to get her out of the situation. jane immediately got the hint, rushing ally off saying she had important meetings to attend to leaving tom and zendaya alone, wondering where niall was.
"thanks for that, jane."
"no problem, kid."
a few days in and work was already exhausting.
constant training took a physical toll on ally's body, not like she wasn't preparing for months before hand, but she greatly underestimated how vigorously she would be working.
it also drained her emotionally. she knew how difficult it would be working with tom, but nothing could have prepared her for how much her heart would beat in terror when she was with him.
every beat telling her to run, to escape and leave all the madness.
her mind told her to stay; she had to, it was an opportunity of a lifetime.
one day on set, she walked onto the stage only to find tom and zendaya obnoxiously flirting infront of everyone, making the whole cast and crew feel somewhat uncomfortable. luckily the russo brothers, the directors, got everyone straight to work and the professional mindset kicked in.
